After resting for a day in Harbin, Qian Feng and Ling Yun packed their things and went to the train station. Fortunately, Qian Feng had already bought train tickets back to Shangzhi County on the day they arrived in Harbin. This time the train was only four hours long, so the two of them bought hard seats. However, they did not expect that there were all kinds of people on the hard seats, and even some chickens and ducks had boarded the train. Fortunately, Ling Yun was not delicate. Although she was a little uncomfortable, she still endured it.
They finally got off the bus in Shangzhi County. Qian Feng was carrying a large backpack on his back and two large bags in his hands. Ling Yun was behind him, holding onto his clothes. With so many people around, she was afraid the two of them would get separated.
After exiting the train station, Qian Feng looked at the familiar streets and took a deep breath. Five years had passed, and he was finally back.

Qian Feng heard a voice coming from beside him. A little girl with a ponytail ran up to him and said with a smile, "Big brother, sister-in-law, you've finally arrived."
Qian Feng looked at the little girl in front of him. He could tell from her features that she was his little sister. He smiled and said, "Duoduo, what brings you here?"
Qian Duoduo smiled and said, "Let's talk as we walk. Dad's waiting over there."
Qian Feng smiled and said to Ling Yun, "Xiao Yun, this is my younger sister, Duo Duo. Let's go find Dad first."
Ling Yun smiled and said, "Duo Duo, hello."
Qian Duoduo smiled and walked alongside Ling Yun, saying, "Hello, sister-in-law."
Ling Yun felt a little embarrassed by what he said. She looked at the tall figure in front of her; his family didn't seem difficult to get along with.
Qian Duoduo and Ling Yun said with a smile, "Sister-in-law, our home is in a small village called Beian Village under Shangzhi County. My father is the village head. We came to pick you up by oxcart. The road is definitely not as good as in the big city. Please bear with us."
Ling Yun smiled and said, "I often go to the countryside, so I know all this."
Qian Duoduo said with a smile, "Over there, that oxcart belongs to our village, and the guy next to him with his legs crossed, looking this way, is my dad."
Qian Feng listened to the conversation between Qian Duoduo and Ling Yun with a smile, thinking to himself that it was fortunate to have a younger sister, so that Xiao Yun wouldn't feel too awkward here.
Qian Duoduo led Ling Yun to the meeting place and said, "Dad, I've brought my older brother and sister-in-law back."
Qian Sheng looked at his eldest son with joy. It was so different when he joined the army than when he wasn't. His straight back was like a sharp sword, and he looked so spirited. He nodded happily, "Good, good, it's good that you're back." When he saw his daughter-in-law, he suddenly didn't know what to say, so he could only say, "Duoduo, quickly help your sister-in-law into the car, let's go home."
Ling Yun watched as Qian Feng placed the things in his hands on the car. With Qian Feng's help, she got into the car and saw a thin blanket laid out on a spot. She looked at Qian Feng in surprise, and Qian Feng was also taken aback. Qian Duoduo saw this and said, "Sister-in-law, sit down. We laid some straw on the bottom for you. Mom said that you are from a big city and you are definitely not used to the dirt roads here. This way, we can make it thicker and save you from being jostled."
Qian Feng smiled and said, "Sit down, this is a token of our mother's love."
Ling Yun smiled, sat on the thin blanket, and seeing Qian Duoduo sitting next to him, he leaned closer to Qian Feng and said, "Duoduo, come here, let's sit together."
Qian Duoduo looked at Qian Feng, saw him nod, then sat down, reached out and took Ling Yun's arm. Seeing that Ling Yun did not struggle, she smiled and said, "Sister-in-law, knowing that you were coming back, Mom and Dad were so happy that they haven't slept well for several days."
Ling Yun said with a smile, "Your older brother is also very excited; he can't sleep well either."
Qian Duoduo glanced at her sister-in-law, who was looking at her with a doting gaze. She felt like she didn't want to eat dinner. Sigh, knowing too much isn't a good thing. For example, now there's a big bowl of dog food in front of her. She has to eat it whether she wants to or not, and she's feeling a bit full!
After swaying on the oxcart for a while, they finally saw Beian Village. Looking at this small village surrounded by mountains on both sides, Lingyun felt a sense of "a great road leads to Rome." She thought the quiet village was quite nice.
When the oxcart entered the village, it was like a drop of water falling into a pot of oil, instantly causing a stir. Many elderly women, as if they had appeared out of nowhere, all stared at Ling Yun, like gorillas in a zoo, which startled Ling Yun.
Qian Duoduo reached out and took Ling Yun's hand, saying, "Sister-in-law, don't be afraid. These people just love a good show." After comforting Ling Yun, she smiled slightly and looked at Aunt Qiao beside her, "Auntie, have you eaten yet? Shouldn't you be cooking?"
Just as Aunt Qiao was about to say something, she saw Qian Duoduo's smile and smiled back, saying, "Yes, it's time to cook."
Aunt Qiao's departure seemed to be a switch, and then all these aunties and grandmas left.
Qian Feng raised an eyebrow when he saw what these people were doing; it seemed this younger sister was quite something.
Qian Sheng chuckled as he parked the oxcart in front of his house. Jin Jinxiu's eyes reddened when she saw Qian Feng at the door. Her gaze lit up when she saw Ling Yun, as if her son could take a backseat for now.
She stepped forward, saw Lingyun, and said with a smile, "You must be Dafeng's wife, right? Come on in." She wanted to reach out and pull Lingyun, but thinking of her rough hands, she withdrew them.
Seeing Jin Jinxiu's actions, Ling Yun smiled and reached out to take her arm, saying with a smile, "Mother, I'm finally back to see you."
Jin Jinxiu immediately smiled: "Okay, okay, come in, come in."
