Lu Yuan slowly walked to the bedside and sat down, gazing tenderly at Qian Duoduo's smiling face. He then reached out and gently took her soft little hand, saying affectionately, "My dear wife, thank you so much! Thank you for giving me such a warm and happy family, and thank you for letting me have such a lovely little baby."
Upon hearing Lu Yuan's sincere words, Qian Duoduo couldn't help but smile as brightly as spring flowers blooming, and replied coquettishly, "Oh dear, he's only a month old, not even as big as a bean sprout yet, how can you be so sure he's cute?"
Lu Yuan's lips curled up slightly, revealing a doting smile, and he said softly, "Because this is the fruit of our love, it is naturally incredibly adorable."
Upon hearing this, Qian Duoduo nodded slightly in agreement, muttering, "Hmm, what you said is absolutely right." Before she finished speaking, the two smiled at each other, and a happy atmosphere filled the entire room.
At this moment, Lu Yuan looked at Qian Duoduo's beautiful and charming face, and an irresistible impulse surged in his heart. He couldn't help but lean down and kiss her delicate cheeks several times.

Lu Yuan took a deep breath and said slowly, "Honey, I have to go back to work at the research institute after the New Year. I won't be able to come out for several months. During this time, you'll have to work hard at home all by yourself."

Besides, as the saying goes, boys resemble their mothers and girls resemble their fathers. Lu Yuan's words were like a spring breeze, gently blowing into Qian Duoduo's heart. Time passed by, and before she knew it, Qian Duoduo was overcome with drowsiness. She kept yawning, and her eyelids grew heavier and heavier.
Seeing this, Lu Yuan quickly helped Qian Duoduo lie down and said softly, "If you're sleepy, go to sleep and get some rest." Then he asked with concern, "Honey, is there anything you particularly want to eat? If so, tell me and I'll make it for you."
Qian Duoduo, who was already a little drowsy, forced her sleepy eyes open after hearing this. Her gaze casually swept over the bedside table, where some vegetables were placed. She shook her head weakly and said, "I just want something plain right now. I don't really want to eat fish or meat." Then she closed her eyes.
Lu Yuan nodded to indicate that he understood, and replied gently, "Okay, then you sleep well for a while, I'll go and make you some light and delicious dishes. I'll wake you up when they're ready." After saying that, he picked up his things, turned around and went into the bedroom, and started working in the kitchen on the first floor.
Qian Rao came over and invited Lu Yuan and Qian Duoduo to his house for a meal. When he followed Lu Yuan, who had come to open the door, into the kitchen, he found Lu Yuan cooking enthusiastically.
So, Qian Rao leaned against the kitchen door frame and asked curiously, "Hey, why are you cooking for yourself? Didn't we agree to eat at my house?"
Lu Yuan glanced back at Shi Rao, a happy smile on his face, and explained, "There's no other way, Duo Duo just wanted to eat these dishes. I wanted her to rest a little longer, so I decided to cook them myself. We'll just make do with whatever we have."
Qian Rao watched his movements and said with a smile, "Your cooking skills are pretty good. Did you learn it from your mother?"
Lu Yuan chuckled and said, "I really did get some pointers from Mother, but no matter how I cook it, it never tastes as good as Mother's."
After watching him plate the dishes, Qian Rao said, "Go upstairs and wake Duo Duo up so she can come eat at my place."
Lu Yuan shook his head and said, "Let Duo Duo rest more. She's been exhausted lately, so she deserves a rare break and a good night's sleep."
