As soon as the door opened, Xu Xiangyang saw someone standing in the doorway, which startled him.
Holy crap!
He patted his chest and looked unhappily at the unfamiliar man in front of him.
"What are you doing, standing in someone else's room door!" He was terrified.
He already felt a bit guilty for eating meat, and this fright made his heart pound even harder.
The main problem is that they haven't become familiar with the current environment.
"Hehe, I just smelled meat, so I'm just sniffing around." The man chuckled lewdly, then peeked furtively into the house.
Xu Xiangyang frowned and said, "What does it have to do with you whether there's meat or not?"
"Secretary Xu, don't be like that. We're all colleagues. It's not like we'll get sick from smelling each other, is it?" He still smiled.
These kinds of people are the most annoying. They talk with a smirk and always say shameless things that people don't like to hear.
Xu Xiangyang sneered, "Go ahead and smell it."
After saying that, he turned and left.
The person at the door paused for a moment, then looked at the tightly closed door with a probing gaze.
Hearing the commotion, Zhang Lianhe from next door came out, saw the person, and immediately closed the door.
However, we were still a step too late, and that person blocked the door.
"Hehe, Zhang Lianhe, why are you in such a hurry to close the door?" He looked at the person in front of him with a half-smile.
When Zhang Lianhe realized he couldn't hold on any longer, he stopped.
"Zhu Xingu, can you stop staring at me like that?" he said impatiently, still afraid to close the door.
Zhu Xingu entered the house with a grin, then looked around but found nothing.
"You're the poorest one, you don't even have a snack." He said with some disdain.
Zhang Lianhe rolled his eyes. He already knew what kind of person this was. How could he possibly bring snacks with him?
Since the company provides meals, I can just eat more rice; I won't buy any snacks.
Seeing that there was nothing to gain, Zhu Xingu turned and left. Before leaving, he went to look around Xu Xiangyang's door again, but it was closed.
He tried to open it, but it was locked from the inside.
"Tch." He rolled his eyes. What, is there some kind of gourmet feast inside? And they even locked the door!
She pursed her lips, then turned and left.
Xu Xiangyang naturally felt someone push the door open while he was inside. He was a little impatient. This person was really sick, and seriously so.
What does it matter to him what other people have or eat?
Living on this floor is really troublesome; I never expected to run into someone like this.
It really proves the saying, "A big forest has all kinds of birds!"
Xu Xiangyang sighed, then turned and went into his spatial dimension to sleep, while also observing the situation here.
He will hear if someone knocks on the door.
It wasn't until after 3 p.m. that Xu Xiangyang woke up, but he still hadn't heard anyone knocking on the door.
He got up, washed his face to refresh himself, and then prepared to go out for a walk.
He had barely taken two steps outside when he went back and locked the door again. Since there was a lock, he figured he might as well use it.
Although there wasn't much in the room, besides a laptop, there were just a few changes of clothes laid out there to make it look like a house.
But if he doesn't lock the door, he won't know who's coming in, and that will make him feel uneasy.
Hearing the door open, Zhang Lianhe opened the door and went out as well.
"Secretary Xu, are you going out?" he greeted her with a smile.
For some reason, he always felt that Xu Xiangyang was easy to get along with, at least when he looked at him, there was no obvious contempt.
Everyone else either looked down on him or said it outright.
Xu Xiangyang nodded, "Just wandering around."
The two went downstairs together. Zhu Xingu, who was upstairs, saw them leave and quickly ran over to push open Xu Xiangyang's door, only to be blocked by Tie Jiangjun.
"Damn it! What's inside? And why is the door locked!" He was extremely annoyed, but he couldn't pry open the door, since there were several other people on this floor.
Hearing the commotion, he came out. Everyone knew that Luo was there, and there were leaders present. He didn't want to cause trouble.
Xu Xiangyang had no idea that Zhu Xingu had failed. After going downstairs with Zhang Lianhe, he went to the building in front.
The first floor is the office space, while the second, third, and fourth floors are where the leaders or directors live.
The environment here is clearly better than theirs; at least there's no musty smell in the building.
Xu Xiangyang looked out through the first-floor window and saw that the leaders were having a meeting inside.
However, without secretaries and such personnel, it's likely that the plan is still in its initial stages.
He didn't look at it much, because if his boss saw it, it might lower his impression score.
Zhang Lianhe, who was standing to the side, said, "Secretary Xu, do you know what we're planning to do here this time?"
Xu Xiangyang glanced at him, and seeing the doubt in his eyes, said, "I don't know either, but I heard that other cities are also planning it, so it should be similar, right?"
He had some vague suspicions before, but no one knew the specifics.
Besides, guesses might not be accurate. There will probably be a plenary meeting tomorrow, and then we'll know everything.
Of course, they wouldn't know the more specific details; only the leaders would.
They are just ordinary workers; all they need to do is their job.
Zhang Lianhe nodded. "Secretary Xu, I heard that many of them have connections to get in. Are you one of them?"
Oh ho? This is a blatant question: Do you have any powerful connections?
He glanced at the dumbfounded Zhang Lianhe, wondering if the man was genuinely stupid or just pretending.
"If I had connections, would I be living on the same floor as you? You wouldn't even ask such a question if you used your brain." After saying that, he left.
Zhang Lianhe paused for a moment, then thought about it using the corrugated cap.
How could anyone think of this? Does Bolin even have a brain?
? ? ?
Something feels off, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
Xu Xiangyang wandered to the front courtyard, where two trucks and two cars for leaders were parked.
There were other people talking nearby, quite a few of them, including Cao Yajun.
The two saw each other from a distance, and Cao Yajun waved to him, signaling him to come over.
Xu Xiangyang walked over, and Zhang Lianhe, who was next to him, followed.
Upon closer inspection, he discovered that the people there were several section chiefs and a director.
We've all met before, but we're not familiar with each other.
Xu Xiangyang greeted him with a smile, and then Cao Yajun led him to the other side to talk.
After stopping, he glanced at Zhang Lianhe behind Xu Xiangyang and said, "You've already made a henchman in just one day?"
Sure, this kid looks like a skinny monkey, but he should be able to run errands.
Xu Xiangyang laughed and said, "What little brother? Don't be silly."
He wasn't familiar with Zhang Lianhe, but wherever he went, Zhang Lianhe followed, which was really annoying.
"Zhang Lianhe," he said, turning his head. "If you don't have anything else to do, you should go back. I have things to do."
Doesn't this kid have any sense at all? If he saw someone walk over to talk, he definitely wouldn't follow.
But Zhang Lianhe followed. What, did he really think he had the superpower of invisibility?
