Xu Xiangyang looked at the light; everyone was holding a flashlight. He counted eight people.
These men are all tall and look strong.
It seems that Cao Yajun has invested a lot of money in this cave.
Maintaining these people is quite an expense.
You need to be well-fed to have the strength to do so.
He watched as several people began moving things, all packed in wooden crates, making it impossible to see what was inside.
However, he was in no hurry and waited quietly for them to move their things.
They hadn't spoken since they came in.
These people are very strong; they carried things for a while without showing any signs of fatigue.
After everyone left, Xu Xiangyang came out of the space and then groped his way to the place where they had moved the boxes.
He took out night vision goggles from his spatial storage and put them on; they did indeed help a lot.
He casually put a box into his spatial storage, and then followed it inside.
Destroying things outside at night can easily be heard.
It's good to have a space like this; you can hold a concert inside and no one will hear you.
He used tools to pry open the box and found it was full of food, with the packaging replaced.
However, he noticed that some items hadn't been replaced; one can of beef still had the Soviet script printed on it.
Another can of fruit has the address of Taichung City printed on it.
It seems these things are all imported, so the price must be high.
Imported food is always expensive, so how could it possibly be cheap?
Xu Xiangyang was a little puzzled. Could it be that Cao Yajun had this ability?
But just thinking about it, he felt it was unlikely.
Who gave him these things?
It's impossible to give it away; you can only make more money by reselling it.
He thought for a moment, then went to find a few more boxes, all of which contained food and grain.
Xu Xiangyang looked at the dark cave inside, and it seemed that there was more than just these things.
He thought about it for a moment, and then decided to go in and take a look.
Since he was already here, he didn't have time to come back unless he found out everything.
It was still pitch black inside, and Xu Xiangyang was only able to see his surroundings with the help of night vision goggles.
But when he saw something green...
Against this gray backdrop, these things stood out as glaringly as torches in the night.
Xu Xiangyang opened the box, which was full of gold, silver and jade jewelry.
The box isn't big, only about ten liters.
However, there were quite a few of these things inside, plus other boxes, making a total of five.
Good heavens, which rich family did they rob?
Xu Xiangyang pondered deeply. If these things were taken away, Cao Yajun would definitely suffer a fundamental blow.
But does he really have to do that?
...
After leaving the cave, Xu Xiangyang went to Cao Yajun's office and installed a listening device in the corner of the window.
After finishing these tasks, he went straight home.
It's already 2:30 AM, and it will be dawn in two hours.
At six o'clock in the morning, Cao Yajun was still asleep when he heard someone knocking on the door.
He frowned, rubbing his throbbing temples. He already went to bed late and hadn't been getting enough rest these past few days.
Is this some kind of death knell, coming so early in the morning?
"What is it!" he asked impatiently at the door.
"Boss Cao, something terrible has happened! Everything inside the cave is gone!" The person outside said in a tone of surprise and disbelief.
Those things were clearly in the cave, and they never slept there, so how could they be lost?
Moreover, the cave only has one exit, and with so much stuff, it would take at least a day to move it all.
This is so strange!
They wondered if they had encountered a leopard, otherwise why would these things disappear into thin air!
Cao Yajun was stunned for a moment, then quickly put on his shoes and got out of bed, and followed him to the cave.
Sure enough, the goods that were originally full of goods are now gone.
That's all!
He stood there, stunned, his mind racing.
Where did the things go?
He only went to sleep at 1 a.m. last night. In just five hours, who could move the things away quietly?
Cao Yajun couldn't understand it at all, and the others around him were also whispering among themselves.
This is just too bizarre!
There are more than a dozen people guarding the entrance. They don't sleep at night, they just take turns in two shifts, and there has never been an accident.
But these things all disappeared into thin air, leaving everyone feeling uneasy.
"What happened?" Jiang Wu ran over and asked, "I heard that everything is gone, is that true?"
Cao Yajun's face darkened, but he still nodded.
The two entered the cave, and sure enough, everything inside was gone.
There were no mottled footprints or wheel tracks on the ground.
These things all seemed to have vanished into thin air.
Cao Yajun gritted his teeth and then called over the people who had been on night watch the previous day.
They were supposed to leave work at six o'clock, but they came back to check before leaving.
But after something like this happens, who would dare go home to sleep after work?
I was sleepy, but now I'm incredibly energetic.
"Did anyone come in last night?" he asked in a deep voice.
The man in his thirties who was leading the group shook his head. "We were loading goods until 1 a.m. yesterday, and everything was normal. Apart from rats, nothing else came in."
"Could it be that rats have come in and moved house?!" Cao Yajun shouted.
He was very angry, and his whole face turned red.
This is a complete slap in the face! A resounding slap in the face!
