Chapter 384 Still Not Good Enough This Time?

Xu Xiangyang had no idea that his elderly mother had already started thinking about finding him a wife.

Upon arriving at the black market, there weren't many people there, only Qian Wenqing and Hei Zi who had come back to restock.

"How is it?" He walked over to Qian Wenqing.

Qian Wenqing was writing in an account book, a large book filled with densely packed small characters, which looked troublesome to look at.

"It's alright, not as much as we make doing it ourselves, but with more shipments, I guess you'll still make more money." He didn't even look up, continuing to write.

Xu Xiangyang nodded. Indeed, as long as Wei Ye and his group were involved, they could still make money.

But I have to consider the people below me, after all, they've been working for me for so long.

“We’ll give everyone a subsidy of ten yuan a month, as a token of our appreciation. They’ve worked for us for so long, we can’t just keep not giving them anything,” he said, then looked at the people next to him.

Ten yuan may not seem like much, but it's better than nothing.

At that time, a temporary worker only earned eight yuan a month, with some earning as little as eighteen yuan.

Qian Wenqing looked up at him and said, "Okay, but Brother Xu, we can't keep working for others like this forever."

With a hint of worry in his voice, he continued, "We need to have our own territory so we can make more money."

Xu Xiangyang also longed for his own place, but he couldn't rush it now.

"Don't worry, we'll talk about it later. We can't stay like this forever. It won't be long before we have our own territory." His tone was firm.

There's no use in being anxious now; we still have to wait.

However, there has been no movement from Master Wei's side, and we don't know what's going on with Master An.

"By the way, how's the thing I asked you to keep an eye on going?" He suddenly remembered that he had asked him to keep an eye on people he didn't get along with.

Qian Wenqing thought for a moment and replied, "There's been no movement from Seventh Master An's side, but he's not selling much, and things aren't going well. Cao Yajun is fine, but he seems to be sick and has been staying home."

Are you sick?

Xu Xiangyang raised an eyebrow. No wonder Shen Fangjun didn't look well; she was probably quite ill.

However, his death from illness has nothing to do with him. The two of them can never reconcile, so it's best to leave it alone.

"I understand." He nodded.

After checking that it was almost time, I hurried back to the garment factory.

I don't know if I'll have any work this afternoon; I can't just wander around outside all the time.

When Xu Xiangyang drove back to the factory, it was already lunchtime, and everyone had finished eating and gone to rest.

He arrived at the office and saw that the desk was empty, so he knew that nothing had happened.

Having not been paying attention to his health for some time, he lay down on the sofa to rest.

I had just lain down when I heard someone knocking on the door.

No one came when I came back, but as soon as I returned, it seemed like they were watching me, so they quickly knocked on the door.

"Come in." He stood up and straightened his clothes.

The person who came was Guan Chunying, with a smile on her face, and she said, "Director Xu, I'm sorry to bother you during my lunch break."

She came over this morning, but no one was there; she's come several times already.

I was so glad to see him come back, so I rushed over right away.

Xu Xiangyang rolled his eyes inwardly. Knowing he was being rude, why did he still bother him?

"Just say what you want to say, I need to take a nap." His tone was anything but polite.

After all, I'm the factory manager, why should I indulge others?

Even if Guan Chunying is a technician, that won't do; she's not as skilled as me.

Guan Chunying wasn't angry. She walked over and put the few sheets of paper she was holding on the table.

"Director Xu, what do you think of my blueprints?" Her face was full of confidence.

She had her design rejected last time, but she regained her confidence and changed all the unusable parts.

I refuse to believe it won't work this time!

This time, she didn't show it to the director, but directly to Xu Xiangyang. Anyway, whether it was good or not, he had to take a look, so why bother?

Xu Xiangyang looked at the paper on the table. Seeing that her attitude was alright, he picked it up and took a look.

The design is okay, but there are too many summer clothes.

"Hasn't our factory already received a lot of orders for summer clothes? Why are you still designing summer clothes?" he asked, frowning.

Guan Chunying was in the workshop; she couldn't possibly be unaware of these things.

If there are too many styles of clothing, it will affect the work progress.

Guan Chunying was a little embarrassed and said hesitantly, "I designed this a long time ago, but Director Xu brought it out earlier."

The blueprints are all designed, so we can't just leave them unused and not test them, can we?

Xu Xiangyang didn't speak, but stared at the blueprints for a while.

"Send these two to Director Chen and the others; we don't need the others for now. We have enough summer clothes; our factory needs to focus on improving the quality first." He didn't completely reject the idea.

To be fair, Guan Chunying is a professional; she even worked in the provincial capital, so she has a good eye for things.

Guan Chunying was pleased to have heard two of them. Although she had only produced ten design drawings, this was enough to prove her abilities.

During this time, the people in the workshop have been talking about me behind my back quite a bit, but without the design drawings approved, there's no point in saying anything.

Fortunately, we passed this time!

"Thank you, Director Xu, I'll go right away." She thanked him with a smile and then hurried out.

Putting everything else aside, Xu Xiangyang is quite fair and didn't hold a grudge about the previous conflict.

She also felt that she had acted too impulsively last time, and that she would learn from her mistakes in the future.

In fact, Guan Chunying knew that she had been too sensitive last time, thinking that since she came from the provincial capital, all the blueprints would definitely be approved.

But I didn't get it, so I felt unbalanced.

Xu Xiangyang didn't pay any attention to her change. To be honest, as long as she could bring benefits to the factory and didn't make any mistakes, he couldn't just trip her up.

He doesn't have the final say in this factory now. If it were his own factory, he would have fired both of them long ago.

What chance of redemption? Not a chance!

When Xu Xiangyang thought of the doors, he remembered the two doors that were blocked off at the factory. Surely no one would bother to remove them again?

A little worried, he went over to take a look around, but thankfully there was nothing wrong.

When everyone saw the factory manager coming, they all focused on their work, afraid of being caught slacking off.

After looking around, just as I was about to leave, I saw Wang Qin and Liang Wenfang walking towards the back of the factory.

Thinking back on what had happened, he felt something was amiss.

He then went to the back of the factory and, taking advantage of the many obstructions there, used the little mouse to go and take a look.

The two people were behind the factory building, where there was no one else and it was very well hidden.

"Wang Qin, how have you been lately?" Liang Wenfang handed her a small apple.

Wang Qin didn't stand on ceremony. She wiped the food in her hand, took a bite, and said, "It's alright, but there's not much progress. The number of orders is small, so it's hard to attract attention."

That's how her department works; they only get noticed when they have a lot of orders.

Moreover, Xu Xiangyang's recent attempt to take on orders led many to say that they lacked the ability.

This also dampened the spirits of others for quite some time, but thankfully things are back on track now.
