Chapter 410 Cute Little Mouse

After calming himself down, Xu Xiangyang met the enormous object opposite him with a calm expression.

Now that they are all the same size, even a mouse is a huge creature in his presence.

He glanced to the side; there were several other roads.

They first tentatively explored two routes, one of which contained hidden grain, and the other a pile of rat droppings.

This is really torturous.

When I went back to the hole where I had encountered the mouse, there was no mouse left; I didn't know where it had gone.

Xu Xiangyang thought about it and went in anyway. Now everyone was a rat, so nothing would happen.

His rat has an iron shell, so he's not afraid that the other rat can damage it.

Upon entering, he discovered that there were several small mice inside...

I must say, the little mouse looks quite cute.

But he didn't linger and went straight to another cave. He didn't have much time; he had many things to do that night.

For example, do something you enjoy.

Let's have some barbecue and beer.

He came to another cave entrance, and after entering, he found that the path inside was very long.

That's amazing!

Following the road, I indeed saw red bricks, and further up was a wooden box with holes knocked out of it.

I don't even have to do it myself, I'm so grateful to the cute mouse.

Upon entering the box, Xu Xiangyang found it filled with Chinese coins, many of which had been eaten, likely by rats.

Seeing that the box wasn't very big, he came out of the hole and went through the gap between the wall and the box, which led him to the basement.

My goodness, that was really tough!

Emerging from the space, Xu Xiangyang held a flashlight and took in the situation in the basement.

The space is only ten square meters in size, and there are quite a few boxes inside, including several iron boxes.

I looked around, and everything was locked.

Just then, he suddenly heard the sound of a lock being opened at the door, so he went straight into the space.

We can't alert them yet; we'll wait until they arrive.

The door opened, a flashlight beam shone in, and then Kong Deyu appeared.

He placed the flashlight high up so that the entire basement was illuminated.

Kong Deyu carefully used a key to open a box and then put his things inside.

This place is full of small yellow croakers; it looks like people come to the black market every day to exchange these for money.

Xu Xiangyang watched his movements and carefully locked the door again.

Then, the person looked around and left.

At the same time, there was the sound of a lock being put on.

Once the footsteps had completely disappeared, Xu Xiangyang left the space.

So, he happily accepted all of these things?

Even though it belongs to someone else, none of this would have happened if he hadn't bothered me.

Xu Xiangyang felt no burden at all. He believed that if others treated him with respect, he would treat them with even greater respect, but if they dared to offend him, then he would not be polite.

After collecting his belongings, he returned the way he came. As he passed the mouse's hole, Xu Xiangyang threw in a piece of cake and put some corn kernels into the other holes.

This is a way of thanking the rats, because there won't be anything to eat there anymore.

He left in a hurry, glancing back at the second floor as he went; the lights were still on.

Hopefully, this person won't go insane from the shock of finding out.

Who would think that a locked iron gate would still allow someone to enter?

Is he a notorious bandit?

The next day, Xu Xiangyang slept until late morning. Since he didn't have to go to work, he didn't care.

After lunch, I went to check on what I had gained the night before.

Besides the previous iron boxes, which were filled with small yellow croakers, there were also some antique calligraphy and paintings.

See? Who would think that antiques aren't valuable at this time?

Those who have the means will keep them; these things have always been valuable.

Selling something like junk for money—only someone completely uneducated would do that.

Anyway, he's been doing this for so long, and apart from small yellow croakers, he's never received any antiques or calligraphy.

At most, there are some jade artifacts, which are not very common.

Xu Xiangyang smacked his lips, thinking that these things were really delicious. Maybe he could even build a small museum for himself to enjoy someday.

But that's just wishful thinking. If you actually had money, these things wouldn't be so precious anymore.

It would be better to give it to the country; at least then it would be used properly.

Gathering his thoughts, Xu Xiangyang left the space. Besides these things, there was a lot of money, which was really not enough.

However, some of the property deeds are quite interesting; they might come in handy later.

When they arrived at Qian Wenqing's side, he was still organizing the warehouse.

"Brother Xu, shouldn't you be at work right now?"

Qian Wenqing was surprised to see him coming.

The last time I visited him, I thought he was quite busy, but now he doesn't seem to have much to do.

Xu Xiangyang glanced at him and said, "What, did I come to delay your business? Is it that I can't come or what?"

"How could that be!" Qian Wenqing quickly said with a smile, "I'm happy you came!"

The two were just joking. He knew Xu Xiangyang's personality; he wasn't usually that serious.

Of course, in other matters, they are certainly very serious.

After Xu Xiangyang entered the room, he said, "Don't tell anyone I'm here, not a single person."

This can't be known by anyone else. He should be looking at fabrics somewhere else right now, why is he here?

Although Qian Wenqing didn't know why, he was always obedient, so he immediately nodded in agreement.

"Brother Xu, are you having lunch here?" He bought a few old hens last night, they're quite good.
