"Knock knock knock..."
A knock came at the door.
Xu Xiangyang turned around and found Guan Qilin standing at the door.
"Director Guan, come in and have a seat." He turned around and sat down on the sofa.
Guan Qilin walked in and asked, "I heard this morning that something big happened at the factory. What's going on? I went to the security department just now but couldn't find Section Chief Huang."
When he arrived this morning, he overheard several people talking about it, and he was terrified after hearing what they were saying.
When he saw the dark wall, he trembled.
That factory has a thousand sewing machines inside. Without these, how will the factory operate?
Moreover, this could have very serious consequences; I can't even imagine what would happen if it were actually burned.
Xu Xiangyang briefly explained what had happened and continued, "Things at the factory are fine for now, and the high walls have been reinforced. Now we just need to catch the guy."
The most important thing is to catch the person. If we don't catch them, things will get worse, and it's uncertain whether those two factory directors will have a future.
Guan Qilin listened to his nonchalant tone, but he didn't feel relaxed at all.
The consequences would be too severe; it's unthinkable.
"Director Xu, we owe you so much, otherwise our factory would have been finished!" His tone was filled with lingering fear.
I don't know why their factory has so many difficulties.
It's always something like this or that; they're constantly on guard.
Xu Xiangyang pursed his lips and said, "This was just luck. Our factory is still not mature enough. We need to do better protection in the future."
Actually, all these things happened because of him, but he didn't feel guilty and resolved them himself.
Besides, he has made significant contributions to the factory.
Guan Qilin sighed and nodded. If it weren't for Xu Xiangyang, the losses would have been incalculable.
But you can't always see it by chance, and that's a lesson to be learned.
After exchanging a few words, Guan Qilin left.
Xu Xiangyang drove off to take a drive around before heading home.
His family had long been used to him being away from home, and they were just as used to him suddenly coming back.
"Oh, Director Xu is back."
As soon as she entered, Wang Xiumin said sarcastically, "Do you still remember this house? It's like you're just dropping by."
She said this, but her eyes were full of resentment; the child didn't miss home at all.
It's not far from home, the factory is only a little distance from my house, so I even moved into the factory to live.
I can't find anyone I'm looking for; he's really busy.
However, she knew in her heart that being busy meant things were going well, and she should be happy about it.
But when I can't see them, I always think about them.
Xu Xiangyang smiled and said, "I didn't buy any gifts."
"Who's thinking about you buying things?" Wang Xiumin rolled her eyes, thinking that this child was as stubborn as ten people.
"Alright, why are you making such a fuss now that the child is back?" Grandma Wang rolled her eyes, then looked at Xu Xiangyang and said, "Xiangyang, Grandma will make dumplings for you in a bit. Come inside and sit down."
Wang Xiumin, standing to the side, curled her lip and said, "See? My eldest grandson is more important than my daughter."
Yesterday she told Grandma Wang that she wanted to eat dumplings, but Grandma Wang asked her if they looked like dumplings.
Today, their eldest grandson came back, and they immediately made dumplings. That's the difference.
Xu Xiangyang entered the room with a smile and saw Wang Zhongshan sitting in a chair listening to the radio, so he went over to chat with him.
It's nice to come back every now and then and stay connected with family.
They're usually busy with work and sometimes can't take care of their family. Fortunately, Xu Guangtian and his wife are young and capable of doing anything.
After lunch, Xu Xiangyang left, coming and going in a hurry.
However, on his way back, he filled the back seat of his car with supplies.
We promised to improve our meals for the Dragon Boat Festival, and I can't keep my word.
When Master Sun saw the truckload of goods, he was dumbfounded.
It's not like he's never eaten at the factory before; no factory has ever had such a lavish New Year's meal.
There were ten chickens weighing six pounds each, and ten fish weighing over three pounds each. And half a pig…
"Good heavens! Director Xu, did you rob that grocery store?" He was incredibly surprised, as were the others.
Xu Xiangyang said, "Hurry up and move your things inside. The holiday is the day after tomorrow, and we don't want them to smell if we don't handle them properly!"
It's not hot at this time, but it's not cold either. There's no refrigerator or anything, so how to store it is a problem.
Master Sun told everyone to move their things inside, and then said, "It's alright, it'll only be one day and two nights, we can keep them here, don't worry."
He was quite confident in his ability to handle ingredients.
Xu Xiangyang handed over the items and returned to his office. These things weren't given away for free; he had to pay for them.
When has he ever made a losing deal?
However, he brought back so many good things that the whole factory knew about it in less than half a day.
Suddenly everyone is looking forward to the Dragon Boat Festival the day after tomorrow; it's practically like celebrating the Lunar New Year!
It's so hard to get something good to eat these days. Even though there are more monks than porridge, a sip of soup is better than nothing.
"Ring ring ring..."
The office phone suddenly rang, and Xu Xiangyang answered it immediately.
"Hello?"
"Hello, this is Xiao Zhenyu from the Grain Bureau. Are you Director Xu?"
A deep voice came from the other end of the phone, sounding like a domineering CEO.
Xu Xiangyang was somewhat surprised, but replied immediately. "It's me, Director Xiao, hello."
"I heard that your factory brought in a pig? Is that true?"
"A pig?" Xu Xiangyang was a little stunned. When did this happen? How come he didn't know?
Xiao Zhenyu's voice rang out again, "Yes, I just heard about it. You're the one who got it."
His voice was hesitant. Could it be that someone was just making things up? That shouldn't be the case; how could they just make up such things?
Xu Xiangyang was truly at a loss for words. He replied, "No, Director Xiao, I can't get a whole pig. I did manage to get half a pig. I thought it was for the holiday, so I went to great lengths to find someone from out of town to buy it for the factory workers as a way of showing my appreciation."
Who on earth is spreading such nonsense? Rumors are indeed unreliable. I bet someone will say tomorrow that he brought in ten pigs.
"Oh, is that so?" Xiao Zhenyu paused for a moment and said, "Director Xu, could you give half of your half pig to our factory? You know how difficult it is to get meat these days."
Do you want half of it as soon as you open your mouth?
Xu Xiangyang thought this person was really shameless; why didn't they just go over there?
"Director Xiao, this is a bit of a dilemma. We've already planned how to prepare this half-pig." He feigned difficulty in his tone.
He wasn't making this up; the moment he took the meat out, Chef Sun had already decided what dish to make.
"Director Xu, don't worry, from now on, the grain bureau will prioritize your factory's supply." Was Xiao Zhenyu trying to bribe him?
I have to say, this is definitely a benefit.
