Chapter 15: Knock on the Door (Part 2)

"Ha ha ha ha………"

"Poof..."

Gu Ranzhou said, "I guess there's something wrong with your son? You're blaming others. I think you're really good at lying with your eyes open."

"Stop talking nonsense, you little bastard. It's obviously that little bitch who can't have children. Stop slandering my son."

"I won't waste any more words with you. Are you going to leave or not?" Gu Ranzhou was too lazy to waste any more words and threatened directly. The others rushed forward with all their might.

Gu Xiuhua suppressed her fear and stood trembling in front of Lu Zhiwei, pretending to be calm and said, "Let's get a divorce. If you don't, I'll have my father report everything you did to your workplace."

Lu Zhiwei finally couldn't control his inner rage anymore and raised his hand to hit him, but was stopped by Gu Jianqiang who punched him. It was only natural for a father-in-law to hit his son-in-law.

When Gu Hu saw Lu Zhiwei being beaten by his father, he was secretly happy and shouted loudly: “Dad, I will ask someone to move the dowry now.”

The other relatives also cheered in their hearts. They had long disliked the kid named Lu. It was just like what their uncle Jiu said, how could he look like a decent person but be so clumsy when doing things?

"Brothers, move the dowry."

Everyone was busy too. Gu Jianqiang took a few people to watch over the family of three, and the rest followed Gu Hu into the house to move things. Gu Hu had long known which ones were his sister's dowry. When he went out, his mother was afraid that he would be angry and forget, so she told him everything.

When Yao saw them moving something heavy, she yelled, "Stop, stop, you damn bastards..."

Yao didn't care how old she was and just sat on the ground and rolled around: "Robbery, they are all bandits..."

"I brought back my dowry after the divorce, and I'm lucky enough not to ask you for compensation for mental damage. I haven't even calculated the years of abuse I suffered from your family..."

The two men of the Lu family seemed to know the outcome but did not dare to resist too much. The main reason was that the men brought by Gu Xiuhua were all tall and strong, and they looked like they could be blown away with a single slap.

Gu Ranzhou saw that the matter was almost resolved: "Fourth brother, the rest is up to you. Just take this grandson to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get a divorce. I'll be leaving first."

"Thank you for troubling you these days, Xiaozhou. I will treat you to a meal when I get back." Gu Jianqiang nodded.

"It's nothing too troublesome. I'm just helping relatives if I can. I'll be leaving now."

Gu Jianqiang did not try to persuade him to stay. After all, Xiao Zhou had already helped him so much, and if he said anything more, it would be simply ungrateful: "Okay, go ahead."

Lu Zhenchuan saw that Gu Ranzhou had finished his work and stood back beside him. Today's events had completely refreshed his understanding of his wife. He also understood another side of him.

"Are you going or not? Didn't you say you were going to the post office?"

"Just walk and I'll be right there."

The two men went to the post office.

After arriving at the post office, Gu Ranzhou originally wanted to wait for Lu Zhenchuan at the door, but Lu Zhenchuan directly grabbed his hand and led him in.

"Comrade, do you have my package?"

"name?"

"Lu Zhenchuan."

The staff member looked at the record list and found it was indeed there: "Comrade, please sign for your letter."

Lu Zhenchuan took the letter and signed his name on the list.

Lu Zhenchuan put the letter into his pocket without reading it. Gu Ranzhou didn't think anything of it. The two of them walked out of the post office together.
