Under the cover of night, Xu Jianguo slipped into the space again and ended the wolf king's life in the wolf king's terrified eyes.

After Xu Jianguo walked over, the remaining wolves immediately got up from the ground and fled in all directions, disappearing from sight in a short while.
The people not far away also saw Xu Jianguo and all showed an incredible expression. Everyone thought that he had been with them all the time and no one knew when he ran away.
When Xu Jianguo threw the nine wolf corpses to the ground, Old Man Zhang hurried over. Looking at the blood on Xu Jianguo's face, he asked, "Jian...Jianguo, are you hurt? Did you kill all these wolves?"

After everyone finished their meal, the old man asked everyone to put out and bury the fire in the pit, then he took all the prey out of the red pine forest and walked downstream along the river.
The clouds were very low today and the weather was a bit gloomy. Many people on the road were saying that this was a sign of snow. Sure enough, at noon, snowflakes began to fall from the sky.
The old man asked everyone to speed up, and the team suddenly became quiet. Everyone had to conserve their energy to hurry on, because no one wanted to spend the night in the snow.
As it was getting dark, the group arrived at the waterfall pool. When they got here, all the people in Sandaliang Village, including Xu Jianguo, showed happy expressions on their faces.
The old man had been here before, so he knew they were almost at the village, and he couldn't help but feel a little relaxed.
He asked everyone to rest for a while and arranged for several hunters to make torches. After all, it was getting dark quickly and it was snowing, so it would be inconvenient to travel without torches.
About half an hour later, a dozen torches made of pine branches and wolf oil were distributed to everyone, with one torch for every two or three people, which was enough for them to walk back to the village safely.
