"Ah? It's okay, you look really beautiful today! Why did you get up so early?" Xu Jianguo asked in surprise.
"This is my first time visiting you, how can I sleep in? If this gets out, people will say you have found a lazy wife." Wen Sitian said with a red face when she heard Xu Jianguo praising her.
"Haha, that's not possible. My wife is definitely the best wife in the world!" Xu Jianguo said with a smile.
Wen Sitian rolled her eyes at Xu Jianguo and said, "Silly! Go sweep the yard. I'll make breakfast today!"
"Okay!" Xu Jianguo nodded, turned and walked out of the house, took a broom, and cleaned up the paper scraps from the fireworks and firecrackers last night.
After returning to the house, Xu Jianguo filled a basin with hot water and washed up, then asked, "Sitian, when are you going to work?"
"We're on the third day of school, what's wrong?"
"It's okay. So, do you think we should go back today or tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow, it's rare for me to come to your village, I want to stay one more day."

Xu Jianguo sat on the bench, watching Wen Sitian busying around, and felt particularly at ease.
"Jianguo, don't just stand there. Go get a basin of hot water for Grandpa Dashan and Funniu. The meal will be ready soon. I don't know the rules in your village, but in case someone comes to pay New Year's greetings later, we have to prepare in advance." Wen Sitian said.
"Okay, I'll go now!" Xu Jianguo said.
When Xu Jianguo brought hot water into the house, he found that the old man was already dressed and sitting on the kang, looking at him with a smile.
"Grandpa Dashan, are we disturbing you with our conversation?"
"No, I was too happy yesterday. I haven't slept so comfortably in a long time. I accidentally overslept. If this happened in the army, I would be punished." Li Dashan said with a smile.
After helping the old man wash up, Wen Sitian brought breakfast into the house. Xu Jianguo was about to wake Funiu up but was stopped by Li Dashan.
"Let that girl sleep, let's eat first!"
"That's fine. I'll serve you some porridge." Xu Jianguo knew that the old man loved his child, so he said with a smile.
Today's breakfast is millet porridge, dumplings, boiled eggs and pickles.
Just as they were about to start eating, there was a knock on the door outside the yard.
