In the afternoon, after Wen Sitian and Funniu finished their nap, Xu Jianguo moved the children's crib into the house.
"Haha, what is this?" Funiu asked while sitting on the bed rubbing her eyes.
"This is the bed that your brother made specially for you. You will sleep on this bed from now on!" Xu Jianguo said with a smile.
"No, I want to sleep with you and my sister-in-law!" Funiu pouted and said unhappily.
Xu Jianguo was helpless and didn't know how to talk to this girl, so he looked at Wen Sitian, who was covering her mouth and laughing, with a pleading look.
Wen Sitian signaled Xu Jianguo to go out first, then she hugged Funiu and spoke in a low voice.
Xu Jianguo came to the main hall, looked at the time, and found that it was already past three in the afternoon.
Bored, he ran to the yard, took out a bouncy ball for children from the space, and started interacting with Xiao Hei.
More than an hour passed by unknowingly. Wen Sitian came out of the house holding Funiu. Funiu saw Xu Jianguo and said with a smile, "Haha! I want to sleep alone tonight!"
"Hey? How come you, a naughty girl, suddenly become so well-behaved?" Xu Jianguo stood up, took Funiu from Wen Sitian's arms, and asked with a smile.
"Haha, my sister-in-law said that when you have a baby in the future, I can become your aunt. Is that true?" Funiu asked innocently.
"Uh..." Xu Jianguo was stunned by Funiu's question. He looked at Wen Sitian awkwardly, only to see that her pretty face was flushed and she looked away, not daring to look at him.
"Haha, haha, I want to be an aunt!" Funiu shouted in Xu Jianguo's arms.
"Okay, okay, your sister-in-law is right, but if I want to have a baby, I must live with your sister-in-law." Xu Jianguo said with some guilt.
"I know! Haha, I want to be an aunt, can you let my sister-in-law give birth to a baby quickly?" Funiu said proudly.
"Okay, haha, I promise you!" Xu Jianguo said with a smile, and then looked at Wen Sitian, but saw her opening the door with a red face and walking in quickly.
After the brother and sister ended their awkward conversation, Xu Jianguo carried Funiu back to the house and saw Wen Sitian making the bed for Funiu. She folded the mattress in half and it was just the right size for the small bed.
After putting Funiu on the bed, Xu Jianguo looked at Wen Sitian with a smile, then turned and ran to the main room to prepare dinner.
For the first dinner after their marriage, Xu Jianguo did not let Du Yu prepare it, but cooked it himself. It took him more than two hours to make six dishes: fried fish fillets, stir-fried lamb with green onions, beer duck, braised chicken nuggets, stir-fried kohlrabi and stir-fried lettuce. The staple food was red date steamed buns. In short, chicken, duck, fish and meat were all on the table.
After serving the food on the table, he took out a bottle of Moutai liquor and orange juice from the space. Funiu sat on the chair immediately, staring at the food on the table with her big eyes without blinking, and saliva flowed unconsciously from the corners of her mouth.
Xu Jianguo took Wen Sitian's hand and sat down, pouring some drinks and white wine into their bowls respectively.
Xu Jianguo picked up the bowl, looked at Wen Sitian and said, "Come on, wife, let's have a drink. Thank you for marrying me!"
"Jianguo, I toast you, thank you for marrying me!" Wen Sitian also picked up the bowl, looked into Xu Jianguo's eyes and spoke.
"And me, and me!" Funiu also picked up the bowl and shouted.
"Yes, and Funiu! Come, let's toast to today's reunion dinner. I hope our family will get better and better in the future!"
"Cheers!" The three of them clinked their bowls together.
Wen Sitian took a sip of white wine, and her pretty face turned slightly red. Under the light, she became even more beautiful and charming.
The three of them enjoyed the sumptuous dinner very much. Most of the bottle of Moutai was drunk. Both of them were a little tipsy. Even Funiu dipped her chopsticks in the liquor and tasted a little. The little girl stuck out her tongue and fanned herself vigorously with her little hands, saying it was spicy. Xu Jianguo and Wen Sitian laughed out loud at the sight.
After dinner, Wen Sitian started to clean up the dishes, while Xu Jianguo ran to boil water. When she finished washing the dishes, Xu Jianguo had already entered the house with a basin of hot water.
Wen Sitian pushed Xu Jianguo out with a red face, and then washed herself and Funiu in the house.
After everyone finished washing up, it was already past nine o'clock in the evening. Wen Sitian hugged Funiu and snuggled in the crib, telling her stories to coax her to sleep, while Xu Jianguo lay on his side on the big bed, looking at the two of them with a smile on his face.
About half an hour later, Funiu fell into a deep sleep. Wen Sitian stood up and covered the little girl with a blanket, then turned around and met Xu Jianguo's smiling eyes.
Seeing Wen Sitian's somewhat uneasy expression, Xu Jianguo did not urge her. Instead, he turned over and sat up from the bed, reached out and pulled the light cord, and the room suddenly fell into darkness.
Wen Sitian stood there without moving, only to hear Xu Jianguo's gentle voice in her ears: "It's late, go to bed!"
"Yeah!" Wen Sitian agreed and walked towards the wedding bed.
Xu Jianguo was lying on the bed, listening to the rustling sounds beside him. His eyes could see at night, and he saw Wen Sitian slowly taking off her clothes, getting into the bed wearing only her underwear, and then taking out a piece of white cotton cloth from under the pillow and spreading it on the bed.
After doing all this, Wen Sitian lay down with the quilt in her hands, staring at the beams with her big eyes. Judging from her breathing, she was very nervous.
Neither of them spoke, they just lay straight on the bed. After a while, Xu Jianguo suddenly reached out and held Wen Sitian's small hand, then slowly turned sideways, looking at the beauty beside him with bright eyes.
