When Xu Jianguo opened the door, he found a middle-aged man in a Zhongshan suit standing at the door.
The reason he felt surprised was because he knew this man.
It was the last time he came to Jingzhou that he went to the train station to pick him up by Secretary Chen, who was also Mr. Zhou’s secretary Chen Jin.
"Uncle Chen!" Xu Jianguo called out with a smile.
"Jianguo, welcome to Jingzhou again!" Chen Jin also said with a smile. He was very happy that Xu Jianguo could call him Uncle Chen.
"Please come in!" Xu Jianguo stepped aside and invited Chen Jin into the house.
"Uncle Chen, please wait a moment. I'll get some hot water!"
"Stop busying yourself. The commander asked me to tell you a few words. I'll be leaving soon!"
When Xu Jianguo heard this, he immediately knew that this must be what Mr. Zhou meant, so his face became serious, nodded and said, "Okay, you say!"
Chen Jin took out an envelope from his briefcase and handed it to Xu Jianguo, saying, "This is the pass the chief asked the Health Bureau to get for you. Even if there's no one to guide you, you can come and get it freely."
Xu Jianguo took the envelope, opened it and found a red-covered certificate inside. It contained Xu Jianguo's basic information, and the unit he worked for was written as the Central Security Bureau.

When Xu Jianguo heard this, he immediately understood what the old man meant. He thought that other big bosses in the central government were dissatisfied with what this woman did. Haha, that was exactly what he wanted!

"Uncle Chen, please wait a moment. I have something that I would like you to take back to the old man!" After Xu Jianguo finished speaking, he went to the wardrobe beside him, opened the wardrobe door, turned his back to Chen Jin, and took out two jars from the space.
One of the jars contained space well water, and the other jar contained the same century-old medicinal wine that he had given to Su Dingshan and Wu Tianlong before.

Since Chen Jin came alone, Xu Jianguo carried the two jars, took him downstairs, and helped put them into the car.
After the two parted, Xu Jianguo returned to the dormitory and continued to pack. After he finished packing, he left the dormitory and went to a post office not far from the hospital. He called Wen Sitian and Ma Guoliang to report that he was safe.
At around four o'clock in the afternoon, Lu Jian came to the dormitory and handed Xu Jianguo his medical certificate, letter of introduction and his ID card from the 501 Hospital. He then gave him a brand new white coat and some cafeteria meal tickets.
For dinner, Xu Jianguo did not go to the cafeteria, but returned to the space and asked Du Yu to prepare some food for him.
After dinner, Xu Jianguo stood up and stretched, then walked slowly into the bathroom, ready to take a good shower to relax. After all, he had been hanging around on the train for two days, and he would feel uncomfortable if he didn't take a shower.
After taking a shower, Xu Jianguo immediately felt relaxed and seemed to be much more energetic.
After changing his clothes from inside to outside, he left the space and returned to the hospital dormitory.
Leaning lazily on the head of the bed, Xu Jianguo took out a book from the space and slowly began to read it. But after reading for a while, he felt sleepy, so he put the book on the bedside table, pulled the quilt over him, and soon fell into a deep sleep.
No words were spoken that night.
The next morning at six o'clock, Xu Jianguo woke up on time, got up, folded the quilt, put on his clothes, and then went to the bathroom with a washbasin and a toothbrush in his mouth.
After washing up, he went downstairs, jogged around the hospital compound for twenty minutes, and did a set of military boxing before going back.
He still had breakfast in the space. After looking at the time, Xu Jianguo put all his valuables into the space, took his white coat and left the dormitory, walking towards the inpatient building.
In the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the third floor, Xu Jianguo knocked on the door of Director Zhang Chaoyang's office. After hearing the voice of "Come in" from inside, he pushed the door open and walked in.
"Director Zhang, good morning!"
"Oh, Colonel Xu, why are you here so early?"
"It's better to come early on your first day of work!"
"Okay, let's go, I'll take you to your clinic!"
Zhang Chaoyang led Xu Jianguo out of the office and walked towards the Chinese Medicine Department's clinic. On the way, people kept greeting him. At the same time, many people looked at Xu Jianguo who was following behind him with suspicion, wondering who this young cadre in military uniform was.
Soon, the two arrived at the innermost room of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Department. Xu Jianguo looked up and found the words "Clinic No. 6" written on a wooden sign on the door frame.
"Colonel Xu, this is the sixth clinic in our Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It originally belonged to another doctor, but he retired before the New Year, so it's vacant now. You can work here temporarily!"
"Okay, thank you, Director!"
