That morning, Xu Jianguo and his family were preparing to go out as usual.
As soon as he reached the door, the phone in the living room rang. Wen Sitian and the children waved goodbye to him, then walked out of the yard under the escort of Xiaohei and Erhei, rode their bicycles out of the house, and headed towards their respective destinations.
After everyone left, Xu Jianguo turned around and sat down on the sofa, then picked up the phone and said, "Hello, this is Xu Jianguo!"
"Hello, Jianguo, this is Huang Hai. Do you have anything to do this morning? If not, come to my office!"

After hanging up the phone, Xu Jianguo called the research institute, said something, then left home and drove towards the Security Bureau headquarters.
When Xu Jianguo arrived at Huang Hai's office, his bodyguard Han Tianlong was already waiting outside the door.
With a "report" sounded, Xu Jianguo pushed open the office door and walked in.
When he entered, he found that there was not only Huang Hai in the office, but also Deputy Director Wan Chongshan and Political Commissar Lu Xiangdong.

"The test samples of protective gear have been made, and the weapons are almost ready. The other things are expected to take about a week." Xu Jianguo said truthfully.
After hearing Xu Jianguo's words, Huang Hai did not speak immediately. Instead, he looked at Wan Chongshan and Lu Xiangdong and asked, "Is there enough time?"
The two looked at each other and shook their heads.
Huang Hai sighed slightly upon seeing this and said to Xu Jianguo, "Jianguo, there's an emergency right now. The head of the Central Military Commission will be making a state visit to North Korea soon. I can't tell you the exact departure time, but we hope that our special agents can use the new equipment you designed during this visit."
"So urgent?" Xu Jianguo asked.
"Well, we originally didn't intend to use the new equipment, but according to the intelligence intercepted by the National Security Bureau, South Korea, under the instructions of the Magnesium Country, may take action to try to disrupt the talks between the two sides." Huang Hai said with a gloomy face.
Xu Jianguo lowered his head and pondered for a moment, then said, "Commander, can you buy me three days?"
"Three days?"
"Yes, three days! In three days, I will give you four sets of new equipment!"
Huang Hai didn't agree immediately, but instead rhythmically tapped his fingers on the armrest of the sofa. After a moment, he looked at Wan Chongshan and Lu Xiangdong. Seeing them nod slightly, he said, "Okay, I'll give you three days, but you have to promise me that these four sets of equipment must be of good quality and there must be no problems when they are used!"

After Xu Jianguo agreed, he raised his hand and saluted the three of them, then turned and walked out of Huang Hai's office. After saying hello to Han Tianlong outside the door, he left the headquarters.
After Xu Jianguo left, Lu Xiangdong said, "Old Huang, do we really want to do this? It's not like our existing equipment is useless. If something goes wrong with this kid's new equipment, we three won't have to wear these clothes anymore!"
Huang Hai frowned and said nothing. Wan Chongshan said, "Old Lu, we have to trust this kid. Just like the commander and Mr. Su once said, Xu Jianguo has never let them down. As long as he says it, he will definitely do it!"
"Damn it, let's do it! Anyway, I'm at this age, so I'll just go crazy with you two old guys! At worst, I can go home and farm!" After thinking for a moment, Lu Dongfang slapped his thigh and spoke.
After hearing his words, both Huang Hai and Wan Chongshan smiled, as if they were recalling the glorious days when artillery fire was raging everywhere.
