At four o'clock in the morning of the next day, Xu Jianguo woke up from his sleep, put on his clothes quietly, got up from the bed, went to the main room, washed up simply, and began to prepare breakfast.
Today's breakfast was simple, toast, milk, fried eggs and bacon. After Xu Jianguo prepared breakfast, he put everything into the space for storage.
After entering the house, checking on Funiu and covering her with a blanket, Xu Jianguo quietly left the house.
He activated the intra-spatial vision function through his mind, focused his view on Funiu lying on the kang, and then Xu Jianguo ran at full speed towards the county town.
When they arrived at Fu'an County, it was not yet six o'clock. Xu Jianguo roughly calculated that he had run 60 miles in less than an hour at full speed. This result was enough to beat all professional marathon runners in seconds.
"Advanced gene enhancement potions are indeed different!" Xu Jianguo thought to himself.
Arriving at Wuyi Lane with familiarity, Xu Jianguo found a remote and deserted courtyard and set it as the third directional teleportation point. The Yuheng Star on the Seven-Star Teleportation Array was successfully lit up, flashing a faint light.
Xu Jianguo flashed into the space and came to the seven-star teleportation array in the yard. He stepped and stood on the Kaiyang star position. With a thought, he felt a flash before his eyes and appeared in the main hall of his own home. He pushed open the door and looked at the little girl who was still sleeping soundly without knowing anything. He felt relieved immediately.
Xu Jianguo set up the kang table and took out the prepared breakfast from the space. When the fried eggs and bacon were placed on the table, Funiu, who was lying on the side, sniffed hard.
Just when Xu Jianguo wanted to wake up Funniu, the little girl had already climbed up from the kang with her eyes closed, groped her way to the kang table and sat down.
"Girl, your instinctive reaction is really extraordinary!" Xu Jianguo gave Funniu a thumbs up and said in a low voice.
Afraid that she would catch a cold, Xu Jianguo picked up the cotton coat and trousers beside him and gently put them on Funniu. Then he wiped her face with a hot towel. After a lot of tossing and turning, the little girl finally opened her eyes and looked at Xu Jianguo sleepily.
"Haha, is it time to eat? I smell fried eggs!" Funiu said in a hoarse voice.
Xu Jianguo nodded, feeling both amused and helpless, and said, "Yes, I made you some toast, as well as your favorite fried eggs and bacon. Do you want to eat now?"
"Yes, I want to eat, I want to eat!" Funiu said, but when she said this, her little head was still nodding, obviously she had not slept well yet.
Xu Jianguo couldn't bear it and said, "Come, brother will feed you. After you eat, you can go back to sleep, okay?"
"Okay!" Funiu nodded and opened her little mouth, waiting for Xu Jianguo to feed her.
The little girl ate two slices of bread, a fried egg and two strips of bacon, and drank a large glass of milk, then said she was full. Xu Jianguo did not continue to feed her, but let her lean on the quilt and continue to sleep.
After wolfing down the remaining food, Xu Jianguo cleaned up the dishes, made some honey water with a military kettle, and looked at the time. It was already seven o'clock.
He picked up Fu Niu and while the little girl was asleep, he slipped into the space, then came to the Seven Star Teleportation Array, stepped and stood on the Yuheng Star Position. With a thought, Xu Jianguo felt a flash before his eyes, and he and Fu Niu appeared in the deserted courtyard in Wuyi Lane in the county town.
"This Seven-Star Teleportation Array is so convenient!" Xu Jianguo thought to himself.
There was no rush to go out. Xu Jianguo stayed in the house holding Funiu. He wanted to wait until the Red Star Machinery Factory opened and then go to find Gao Wang and ask him to help him issue a letter of introduction, and then use the letter to buy a long-distance bus ticket.
After a while, Funiu stretched in Xu Jianguo's arms and woke up. She looked at Xu Jianguo who was holding her and asked, "Haha, where are we?"
"We have arrived at the county town. I will take you to see Uncle Gao to get a letter of introduction. Maybe you can even meet your sweet sister!" Xu Jianguo said.
When Funiu heard that she would be able to see Wen Sitian later, she immediately became happy and urged Xu Jianguo to leave quickly.
After putting Funiu down and giving her a few sips of honey water, the little girl jumped and ran out of the yard. Xu Jianguo saw her and hurriedly followed her.
The brother and sister walked out of Wuyi Lane and headed towards the Red Star Machinery Factory. When they arrived at the gate, the gatekeeper saw that it was Xu Jianguo, greeted him with a smile, and let the two in. Xu Jianguo took Funiu and walked straight towards Gao Wangshan's office.
Gao Wangshan's office is in a two-story building, not far from the department where Wen Sitian works, and both are near the production workshop.
Xu Jianguo brought Funiu to Gao Wangshan's office door and knocked, but found no one responded. He thought it was too early and no one had come yet, so he took Funiu to the flower bed at the door of the small building and waited.
Xu Jianguo sat by the flower bed, looking at Funniu who was squatting on the ground. The little girl was holding a small piece of branch in her hand and teasing the little ants on the ground.
At this moment, a familiar voice came from not far away: "Funiu?"
Xu Jianguo and Funiu looked in the direction of the sound and saw Wen Sitian holding a lunch box and walking towards them from the direction of the cafeteria with several female workers.
As soon as Funiu saw Wen Sitian, she quickly dropped the branch in her hand and ran towards her with her short legs, calling out, "Sister Tian!"
Wen Sitian was afraid that Funiu would fall, so she hurried forward to greet her. She squatted down and picked Funiu up, and asked happily, "Funiu, why are you here?"
