Tang Jiao stared at Chen Xiangnan with admiration all the way, chattering about their hospital affairs. She split a sweet potato that Chen Xiangnan had brought in half, giving it to her and Chen Xiangnan. She even took a large bag of red dates from Tang's father's drawer, which his mother had bought specifically for his health.
"This bag of red dates my mom bought is big and sweet. You can have it as a snack or make soup with it. You should drink more of it when the time comes." Tang Jiao was particularly happy today. "Next time I go home, I'll get some of the smoked meat I bought. It's delicious too."
Chen Xiangnan also smiled: "I accidentally received an old watch from somewhere else before. You can bring it to our mother when the time comes."
Tang Jiao opened her eyes wide, "A watch? For my mom?"

He even paid for the wedding banquet himself and hired the chef to cook. Someone asked my mother-in-law about the chef's price and the source of the dishes, but she didn't know anything. I think she just helped out and didn't contribute a penny."
Tang's father was surprised. "These days, there are still guys who marry without spending their parents' money. This guy is really capable."
Tang's mother was worried again. "So I really don't understand how he got all this money. I'm afraid he did something shameful."
This time, Tang's father took his words to heart and began to worry. In order to keep Chen Xiangnan away from his daughter Jiaojiao, he had staked out Chen Xiangnan several times before. Every time, the boy would go out early and come back late, sometimes with mud on his body. No one knew where he was going.
If, as his wife said, he was doing some unspeakable way to make money, Tang's father would be even more upset. What if...something happened to that kid, what would happen to his Jiaojiao in the future?
