Chen Xiangnan accompanied Tang Jiao back to her parents' home. He went with his father-in-law and several brothers-in-law. Tang Jiao went to find her mother.
"Such a big thing happened in your family yesterday?" Tang's mother exclaimed when she heard Tang Jiao talking about her mother-in-law going crazy on New Year's Day.
Tang Jiao nodded. "They almost set the whole house on fire. Xiangbei fell to the ground unconscious. My father-in-law was hit on the head and bled a lot. My mother-in-law threw all our things out. The kitchen was a mess, and our precious wine collection was smashed."
