Chapter 2 It's not embarrassing enough to spread it out
Xu Lin's innocent look made the whole family speechless. It was the first time they heard that a hen grows up by eating sand.
They just felt that this little bastard Xu Lin was treating them like fools.
"You must have mixed the sand in there, you little bastard. Are you unhappy that I make you cook every day and are deliberately making trouble?"
Old Mrs. Xu gritted her teeth, swallowed the egg with determination, pointed at Xu Lin and cursed her, making Xu Lin almost flip the table.
"I really didn't. You are wrongly accusing me. If you don't believe me, then, I will eat the remaining eggs."
In order to prove her innocence, Xu Lin reached out to grab the few remaining eggs.
When the Xu family saw this, they were shocked. The little bastard wanted to eat eggs? He should just dream on.
Before Xu Lin's chopsticks touched the eggs, the few eggs left on the plate disappeared and all fell into Xu Kun's bowl.
He cursed proudly:
"Bah, you shameless loser, do you think you deserve to eat something as precious as an egg?"
After cursing, he proudly lifted up the bowl and shoveled all the eggs into his mouth. Then he looked at Xu Lin provocatively, so proud.
Ah, bah, bah, bah!
Xu Kun was not proud for three seconds, because the sand in the egg irritated his teeth and he immediately spat out the egg.
After vomiting several times, I felt that I had not vomited out completely, so I had to drink some water to rinse my mouth. I didn't even have time to curse.
Xu Lin raised her eyebrows slightly and said, "You want to eat eggs? Haha, I'll let you eat shit."
I'll let you look at this exquisite thing and not be able to eat it, and you'll be so mad at me.
Since I'm not allowed to eat it, none of you can eat it either.
Old Mrs. Xu looked at the egg meat spit on the ground, her face twitching with pain, and she slammed the table and shouted:
"You little bitch, you must have done this on purpose. Just wait, just wait."
The old lady wanted to pick up the bowl and throw it at Xu Lin, but she felt sorry for the porridge in the bowl, so she could only curse:
"Kun's mother, take away the little bitch's porridge. I'll beat her up and then starve her for a few days. Let's see if she dares to do anything bad again."
"Yeah." Xu's mother agreed immediately and brought Xu Lin's bowl of porridge to Xu Kun, feeling quite happy.
She saved another bowl of porridge. Even though it was so watery that you could see the bottom without a grain of rice, she was reluctant to give it to the little bitch.
Even though her porridge was snatched away, Xu Lin was not angry. She just sat in the corner with a blank face.
This was a feast she had carefully prepared, and she had to watch the family finish it.
Old Mrs. Xu glared at Xu Lin hatefully, calling her a short-sighted little bitch and a coward. She got angry whenever she saw her.
As if to demonstrate, Mrs. Xu picked up the thick rice porridge and took a big sip, chewing with exaggerated force on purpose.
Snap!
Ouch!
Old Mrs. Xu covered her mouth again, her triangular eyes widened in horror, and she felt a salty and fishy taste coming out of her mouth, and there was more!
She touched her front teeth with her tongue, and it was empty, actually empty!
She, she, she, her big tooth actually fell out!
Old Mrs. Xu's thunder-struck expression pleased Xu Lin, causing the corners of her mouth to slightly rise, but she quickly suppressed them.
It’s not unfair that she deliberately threw the pebble into Old Lady Xu’s mouth!
Old Mrs. Xu opened her mouth and spat out the rice porridge in her mouth. Well, there was a big yellow tooth mixed in it, which looked quite disgusting.
Xu Lin silently turned her head away and didn't look at the scene.
"Tooth, my big front tooth." Old Mrs. Xu pointed at the big yellow tooth and cried out in pain.
"You little bastard, you put stones in the porridge on purpose, didn't you? You must have done it on purpose.
You black-hearted, rotten-lung money-loser, you...”
Old Mrs. Xu was furious and pointed at Xu Lin and started scolding her while shaking her finger.
"I didn't, I didn't, you are wronging me." Xu Lin blinked her innocent peach blossom eyes and explained.
"I want to eat this porridge too. How could I deliberately add stones to it?"
Xu Lin shook her head and denied it, not admitting a single word, and added at the end,
"Were you cheated when you bought rice?"
When asked, Mrs. Xu was stumped. She said, “Yes, food is in short supply now and the price is very high. Maybe the other party really mixed sand and stones into the food.”
Thinking about the fact that she had bought the rice herself at the black market, Mrs. Xu became even angrier.
But she refused to take the responsibility and immediately pointed at Xu Lin and continued to scold her. No matter whose fault it was, it was right to scold Xu Lin.
Xu Lin is the Xu family's punching bag, babysitter, and workhorse!
Seeing Old Lady Xu swearing, the Xu family members were used to it. No one said a word to persuade her and some even continued to eat without changing their expressions.
But today's meal was destined to be a bad one, because every bite of rice they ate was mixed with sand and stones, and the same was true for the vegetables.
There was nothing edible. Even the steamed buns made of two-grain flour had pebbles in them.
The meal was a chaotic one, with some curses hurled at them from Old Lady Xu and her friends, prompting neighbours to come over to watch the fun.
Xu Lin stood at the door with her head down and ears drooping, and from time to time she weakly made excuses, saying how innocent she could be.
The neighbors were shaking their heads. Everyone knew that the eldest son of the Xu family was a punching bag.
Do the most work, eat the least, receive the most severe beatings, and receive the harshest scolding.
It's a pity that she is a person who can't stand up on her own, just like a helpless Adou. Even if you help her, you will get no good results.
Gradually, everyone stopped wanting to help her and instead started to enjoy the fun.
Hearing that there was sand in the Xu family's food, some people came forward to check.
I turned over the food on the table but couldn't find a grain of sand.
This made everyone sigh again. Old Mrs. Huang couldn't stand it anymore and said:
"Mr. Xu, I know you don't like this child, but you can't treat her badly."
"Who raped her? Are you blind? You didn't see the sand in the food."
Old Mrs. Xu felt sorry for her front teeth, and when she heard Old Mrs. Huang's advice, she burst into curses.
He didn't even give Mrs. Huang a chance to continue persuading her, which made her so angry that she rolled her eyes.
"You are the one who is blind, look where the sand is."
Old Mrs. Huang stirred the porridge and questioned, the rice porridge was cooked white and fragrant, without any impurities.
Look at the vegetables again, they are fried one by one, where is the sand?
"Is there? Is there? I can't tell. Let me try it."
The greedy Hu Ersao came to the table and stuffed a piece of vegetable into her mouth while talking.
The Xu family members looked worried about the food and their teeth, and their expressions were weird.
Hu Ersao smacked her lips. This dish was really delicious. She had never eaten such delicious food before.
"Look, there's sand in it. It's so disgusting." Xu's mother said, her eyes fixed on Hu Ersao's mouth, feeling sorry for the food on the chopsticks.
"Really? I can't taste it. Let me take another bite."
As Mrs. Hu spoke, she stuffed another piece of vegetables into her mouth with her chopsticks. With two chopsticks, she finished eating all the vegetables on the plate until only two were left.
Everyone's eyes twitched when they saw this, and they secretly cursed Mrs. Hu for taking advantage of them.
Who would eat other people's food till only a little bit is left?
It's not embarrassing enough if it gets out.
But is there really sand in Xu’s dishes?
How can Hu Ersao still eat so deliciously even with sand in it?
"You said there is sand in the porridge, right?" Mrs. Hu asked with sparkling eyes.
Old Mrs. Xu nodded with a puzzled look on her face. There was indeed sand and stones in the porridge, and her front teeth were still there.
Seeing what Old Lady Xu did, Mrs. Hu's eyes lit up, "Really? Then I'll try it for you guys."
