Chapter 6 My Mother Broke Down, My Son Ran Away? (1/2)

Liu Hongmei shuddered in fright, her face turning pale: "You...you're not drunk?"

Wasn't Du Jianshan asleep just now?

How come I'm not drunk at all?

Du Jianshan flung her hand away, sat up abruptly, and dusted off his clothes: "Drunk? You think you can get me drunk with your little bit of cat pee?"

You bastard!

If he hadn't been pretending to be drunk, he really wouldn't have been able to watch this good show!

It turns out that the beast hadn't actually done anything wrong; he just couldn't stand having him at home and deliberately caused trouble!

It's probably because he honestly signed the confession in his past life that they deliberately sent him to jail and made him serve eight years of wrongful imprisonment!

What a clever scheme!

Liu Hongmei panicked and stammered, "Then, then what you just did..."

"Just now?" Du Jianshan sneered, "Didn't you just want to hear what other tricks you bunch of bastards could come up with?"

His eyes flashed with anger, and he pointed at Liu Hongmei's nose, cursing, "You guys are really something, ganging up on me?"

"That coward Li Fuqiang didn't do anything wrong, yet you dare to threaten me with indecent assault? And you want to force me onto you, a widow who's caused the deaths of three men?"

"Who do you think you are, to think you're worthy of me marrying into your family?"

Liu Hongmei's face turned pale and then red when she was hit where it hurt: "What do you mean? Let me tell you, it's your great fortune that I even took a liking to you!"

"Even a dog wouldn't want this kind of good fortune! What are you pretending to be, acting all high and mighty?" Du Jianshan's eyes were filled with coldness.

Liu Hongmei's hands trembled with anger, but she sneered and stood with her hands on her hips, shouting, "So what if it is? What can you do to me? Anyway, nobody knows!"

Du Jianshan chuckled, slowly took out a tape recorder from his pocket, and pressed play.

Liu Hongmei's smug voice immediately echoed in the room: "Actually, your brother, that coward... didn't peek at me while I was taking a shower at all!"

Halfway through the recording, Liu Hongmei's legs went weak, and she lunged forward to snatch it: "Where did you get this thing?"

Damn it, how come she didn't see it just now?

Du Jianshan shoved her away and sneered, "Now you know fear?"

"Tell me, if we hand this over to the police, wouldn't that be considered false accusation and framing?"

"How many years would that sentence be? Or..." He paused deliberately, "...would he be executed?"

Liu Hongmei panicked completely, knelt down with a thud, grabbed Du Jianshan's trouser leg and cried out, "Jianshan! I was confused for a moment! Please, please forgive me!"

Du Jianshan disgustedly shook her off: "Spare you? Fine."

He stared at Liu Hongmei's pale face and suddenly laughed: "Since you like acting, then you can act one more scene with me."

Liu Hongmei asked tremblingly, "Act...act about what?"

Du Jianshan chuckled: "Of course I'll act in whatever I say. Besides that, I have one more request."

With her hands now holding the leverage, Liu Hongmei agreed to everything he said, nodding her head like a chicken pecking at rice.

Du Jianshan stared coldly at Liu Hongmei and said, word by word, "My first request is to get my father's property deed back."

Liu Hongmei was taken aback: "Property ownership certificate?"

“Yes, this house originally belonged to my father.” Du Jianshan’s eyes turned cold.

"He's dead, and Li Guodong moved in with his son, living off my father's pension and in his house. Now he wants me to take the blame?"

"It's only right that I take back the house!"

He clenched his fists, feeling a tightness in his chest.

Dad, I feel sorry for you.

Everything was done for that bastard's benefit!

He made a mistake once in his past life, and he will never make the same mistake again in this life.

Liu Hongmei bit her lip, still trying to bargain: "But...but the property certificate is in Li Guodong's hands..."

Du Jianshan shook the tape recorder and asked, "What, want to go to jail?"

Liu Hongmei immediately backed down: "Okay, okay! I'll help you carry it!"

Du Jianshan snorted and continued, "The second thing is, don't they like catching adults in the act? Then let them catch as many as they want."

Liu Hongmei's eyes widened: "What do you mean?"

Du Jianshan grinned and pointed at Li Fuqiang, who was dead drunk in the main room: "Let's change the target of our adultery to him, and then we'll make him marry into the family."

"What?" Liu Hongmei exploded, shouting in a shrill voice, "That wretched toad-like guy? Ugly and pathetic, I wouldn't even want to touch him!"

Du Jianshan remained calm and unperturbed, slowly saying, "Think about it, you've already caused the deaths of three men, who would dare to marry you?"

"Although my younger brother is ugly, his father works in a steel factory, so he'll have a secure job in the future."

"If you marry him, you'll be living off someone who has no descendants. Isn't that better than being a widow?"

"Besides, we can make him write a guarantee later. It's not like you can just say whatever you want. Just treat him like someone who's come to serve you, okay?"

Liu Hongmei's eyes darted around, somewhat tempted, but she still looked down on him: "But his face..."

Du Jianshan sneered: "Either marry him or go to jail. It's your choice."
