Jiang Haitang fetched some water, took a basin and started washing clothes.
The clothes were washed and put away, but they had a bit of smell after being kept for a long time. Jiang Haitang washed them twice, wrung them dry and hung them on the clothesline.
Although Xiao Taozi stayed in the vegetable garden, her eyes kept looking at Jiang Haitang.
