"Just sit here and wait a bit. Dinner will be ready soon. After dinner, take a shower and then go back to your rooms to sleep. I'm the team leader here. You can come to me if you need anything. Don't be shy, make yourself at home."
Xu Zi patted Lin Zheng on the shoulder, seemingly to encourage him, but also to comfort him.

Lin Zheng nodded absentmindedly, but his gaze involuntarily fell on the graceful figure that had been there for so long. He watched him enter the room before lowering his eyelids and picking up his younger brother.
He suddenly felt a pang of sadness in his heart, wondering if she disliked him. Why didn't she let them stay here and live with her in the future? Was she afraid they would bother her?
Lin Zheng's mind wandered uncontrollably. He didn't know why he would subconsciously steer the conversation toward Yu Jiu. His mind was filled with her every smile and frown. The young boy, just beginning to experience love, didn't yet understand what it meant to fall in love at first sight or to be captivated upon second meeting.
He subconsciously suppressed his inner emotions, yet his mind was involuntarily filled with wild thoughts; his heart was in turmoil.
Lin Rong was unaware of the complex emotions in her older brother's heart. She also subconsciously followed Yu Jiu's back, but she simply thought that this older sister was very beautiful and kind, and gave her a comfortable feeling, so she unconsciously kept her eyes on her.
Yu Jiu acted quickly, immediately preparing a clean guest room for the two of them to go in and have a look. He told them to let him know if they needed anything else, and he would help them get it.
The Lin brothers carried only a small bundle with not much stuff; it probably contained only a few clothes and some money. It's obvious that to leave discreetly and quietly, they couldn't carry too much—it would make running around inconvenient and draw too much attention, making them easy targets.

When it came to dealing with those three lazybones, Yu Jiu was very proud. She raised her chin and snorted.

Yu Jiu gave him a coquettish glare.
The two chatted casually and bickered a bit at the dinner table, their conversation light and relaxed, making everyone quite envious. Lin Zheng and Lin Rong ate at a fairly fast pace, probably because they had practiced it over the past few days. The Lin brothers, Lin Zheng and Lin Rong, had been traveling for several days, and now that they had settled down, they started to feel sleepy. So, after taking a shower, they went straight back to their room to sleep and soon began to snore softly.
Upon seeing this, Xu Zijiang immediately pulled Yu Jiu into his room, his heart burning with excitement and impatience.
