Yu Jiu thought Li Nannan was going to pounce on her and hit her, so she instinctively pulled her hand back to defend herself. But Li Nannan pounced on her diagonally behind her instead. Something was wrong.
A sense of foreboding rose in Yu Jiu's heart. She subconsciously followed Li Nannan's footsteps and saw Li Nannan bend down as if picking up something. Yu Jiu looked closely and noticed something glittering in the gray sky.
It was a knife! Yu Jiu was startled. Then her body reacted faster than her mind. She rushed forward and, before Li Nannan could even get a firm grip on the knife, she grabbed the tendon on Li Nannan's wrist with one hand and quickly pulled the knife out by the back of the blade with the other.
"Blood! There's blood on Li Nannan's clothes. Could she have stabbed someone?!"
As they got closer, Yu Jiu suddenly noticed the blood on Li Nannan's clothes. Her pupils contracted, and she instinctively threw the knife away and pressed her down even harder.
