"I was afraid I'd get bored inside, so I bought some to satisfy my cravings."
Yu Jiu said in a serious tone, and then handed him a skewer of grilled sausage.
"That's right. Here, take them all and let's go in. The tickets are already bought."
Xu Zijiang had no objections, so the family of four—An'an licking a candied hawthorn, Xu Zijiang and Yu Jiu eating grilled sausages, and Yuanyuan sucking her fingers—went to the zoo.
Two minutes after entering, several small animals began to appear, all kept in enclosures to the side. However, there were quite a few people, and you had to squeeze past the fence to see what was inside. Xu Zi, carrying An An in one arm and with his other arm around Yu Jiu's shoulder, single-handedly squeezed the mother and her two children inside.

Later, they saw deer, tigers, and lions, but An'an didn't see the panda she wanted.
"Didn't this zoo advertise that it had pandas? Why haven't we seen any pandas yet? Is this false advertising?"
Yu Jiu was a little tired from walking, so they found a clean spot, sat down, and then drank water and ate something. They had said they would buy some sweet soup, but they forgot, so now they could only drink plain water.

Xu Zijiang peeled two roasted chestnuts for Yu Jiu, comforting her as he did so. At first, Yu Jiu was able to hold Yuan Yuan. After walking for 10 minutes, she got tired, handed Yuan Yuan to Xu Zijiang to hold, and then took An An's hand.
However, when it came time to squeeze in to see the animals, Xu Zijiang had to carry both children so they could see them. Yu Jiu was responsible for carrying things, but carrying these odds and ends was no lighter than carrying a child, so her hands and feet were tired and she couldn't hold on any longer.
There were no benches in the zoo, so the four of them found a quiet spot by the roadside to sit.
However, the zoo is so lively not only because it's large and has a lot of animals, but more importantly because it has pandas. They even advertise panda shows and pandas jumping through hula hoops, which is why so many people come.
"That's all we can do, An'an. Are you tired?"
While eating roasted chestnuts, Yu Jiu asked An'an, slightly out of breath.
"I'm not tired, Mom. Let me hold the water cup for a bit, I can carry it."
An'an said sensibly that she had two little braids hanging down in front of her chest today, and bangs on her forehead, but they did not cover her big, round eyes. Her cheeks were rosy and her little mouth was chubby. Even though she was in elementary school, she still had baby fat on her face, which might take a few more years to go away. Her delicate little face looked even more adorable.

"Okay, then the water cup will be given to An'an to help Mommy with this."
Previously, An'an was carried by Xu Zijiang, so she didn't walk much. It's normal that she's not tired now. Besides, children have more energy than adults, especially when they're excited.

She's the one who's most relaxed right now, since she's physically useless.
After walking for about 5 minutes, they saw a huge crowd. They estimated that half of the zoo's visitors had gathered here. Yu Jiu and Xu Zijiang guessed that they must have come here to see the pandas.
"How are we supposed to squeeze in with so many people? There are so many people, it's like we're in three or four circles."
Yu Jiu clicked her tongue in amazement. She had never seen a panda in her past life. She was quite curious, but there were just too many people to squeeze in!
Fortunately, perhaps because there were too many people, staff finally came out to maintain order.

They only need to wait 20 minutes until the people currently watching the pandas have finished. If they are not quick enough and end up at the back of the line, they may have to wait for an hour.
