Chen Xiaoyan gritted her teeth, knowing this was no time to hesitate. She quickly hid the documents inside her clothes and looked at Li Jin with determined eyes: "Jin, you must be careful. The policeman waved his hand without saying a word and said, "Enough nonsense, let's talk at the police station!"
Just as Li Jin was being escorted away by the police, Chen Yu arrived in a hurry with a group of people. The leader was a middle-aged man with a resolute face. He was dressed in plain clothes, but exuded an aura of authority.
"What's going on?" the middle-aged man asked in a deep voice.
The police officers disguised as members of the Liu family changed their expressions slightly upon seeing this person. The lead officer, trying to appear calm, said, "Director Wang, this woman committed a crime in the street. We were just about to take her back to the station for investigation."
Director Wang glanced at the man in black on the ground, then at Li Jin, his gaze sharp: "Committing a crime in the street? She took down all these people by herself? You lot, are you always so careless in handling cases, arresting people without investigating properly?"
The police officers were speechless, unsure how to respond. Chen Yu seized the opportunity to walk over to Director Wang and whisper a few words.
