Qin Guodong looked at Lin Jin with a smile. He noticed that Lin Jin didn't seem very interested in television. So, he asked softly, "Xiao Jin, are you getting along well at school? How are you getting along with your classmates?"
Lin Jin raised her head with a faint smile on her face and replied, "Godfather, everything is fine at school. My classmates are very friendly, and we get along very well."
Qin Guodong nodded and continued, "I heard from your godmother that you have to attend evening classes three days a week, and the classes don't end until nine o'clock. That's too late. They encountered many acquaintances who greeted them with smiles! Lin Jin returned the greetings. Everyone who saw them praised Li Yanjun for her good fortune in having such a wonderful daughter!
Li Yanjun just smiled. As they approached Lin Jin's house, a man suddenly darted out from a nearby alley, clutching his stomach and crying out in pain, "Help! Someone save me!" Lin Jin immediately rushed over to check on him and found his pulse erratic, suggesting he had ingested something poisonous. She acted decisively, taking out a homemade antidote pill from her pocket and giving it to the man. Li Yanjun and Qin Guodong watched anxiously from the side. After a short while, the man's complexion gradually returned to normal. The man excitedly grabbed Lin Jin's hand, saying, "Girl, you're truly my savior! I ate something leftover from the night before, and it probably spoiled. I was in so much pain I almost fainted." Lin Jin smiled and said, "It's good you're alright. Lin Jin wanted to invite her godparents to her home for a while, but her godmother smiled and said, "You have school tomorrow! Go wash up and go to bed, your godfather and I are going back! Make sure the door is locked tonight!"

Li Yanjun looked at Lin Jin's obedient appearance with eyes full of affection and gently patted her head. After waving goodbye to her godparents, Lin Jin turned and went inside. She washed up and lay in bed, reflecting on the day's events, a faint smile on her face. Suddenly, she heard a strange sound outside the window, like people whispering. Lin Jin became alert and quietly went to the window, peeking out through the curtains. She saw two dark figures lurking suspiciously near her house, seemingly searching for something.
Lin Jin's heart tightened, realizing that these two might have ill intentions. But they didn't linger long, leaving after only a short while! Thinking about what had happened that day, Lin Jin felt something was amiss! She simply slipped into her spatial dimension!
She felt the weather was getting warmer and that sleeping in the open space wasn't good anymore, so she went back to sleeping in her room! Little did she know someone was trying to take advantage of her; it seemed she'd have to be extra careful these next few days.
