Chapter 110: Bastard (2/2)

Second Uncle Wang Xiaojun asked.

"He's much better, but he's still not very mobile."

"As long as I can stand up, it's not a big deal." Wang Xiaojun has a good attitude.

"Jin Nian".

Ran Jin called out, "Cousin, Cousin."

Wang Xiumei came in, thinking that her daughter hadn't eaten well on the train: "Jin Nian has been traveling for several days, I'll go cook her a bowl of noodles."

A robbery occurred on the train, and Ran Jinnian watched helplessly as someone died. She also didn't eat well afterwards.

Ran Demin held An'an and sat outside; the little one was too small to come in.

Wang Xiumei cooked a bowl of noodles.

"Jin Nian," Wang Xiumei called from the kitchen.

Ran Jinnian went inside, picked up the noodles, and was about to leave.

"We'll eat in the kitchen."

Wang Xiumei stopped her. She had put two eggs in the bowl, and it wouldn't be good if her second son's wife saw them when she took it out.

Ran Jinnian sat on the stool eating noodles, though she didn't really have a good appetite. But it was her mother's gift, so she tried to eat most of it.

"Mom, I can't eat anymore." Ran Jinnian really couldn't eat anymore.

Seeing that there was still some left, Wang Xiumei brought it over and complained that she had eaten it all: "Why don't you take a nap?"

"I haven't burned paper money for my grandfather yet, I'll go burn some first." Ran Jinnian went out and knelt outside the mourning hall to burn paper money for her grandfather.

She knelt for a long time before finally standing up because she couldn't hold on any longer.

"sister."

A girl ran over.

She is Wang Caiyue, the daughter of Ran Jinnian's maternal uncle. She is two years younger than Ran Jinnian, and the two sisters have always had a good relationship.

"Sis, where's my brother-in-law?"

Wang Caiyue looked around.

"He hasn't recovered yet, so he hasn't come back." Ran Jinnian yawned.

"Sis, are you sleepy? Do you want to sleep in my bed?"

Although the three Wang brothers have separated their households, their houses are still in this courtyard.

"Okay, I'm going to take a nap."

Ran Jinnian hadn't slept well on the train either, and now she couldn't hold on any longer.

"Dad, I'm going to Caiyue's room to sleep for a while," Ran Jin said to Ran Demin.

The little one especially loves his grandfather; he didn't cry while being held.

Ran Demin waved his hand: "Go ahead."

Ran Jinnian followed Wang Caiyue to her room. Wang Caiyue's room was not big, but it was very clean.

"Sister, go to sleep." Wang Caiyue closed the door.

Ran Jinnian listened to the suona music outside and thought she wouldn't be able to sleep, but in the end, it was Wang Xiumei who woke her up.

"Girl, An'an is hungry. Feed him some milk before he goes to sleep." Wang Xiumei also wanted her daughter to sleep a little longer, but An'an was hungry and ate his rice cereal for a short while before he started fussing again.

"How long did I sleep?"

Ran Jinnian noticed that it was getting dark outside.

"About three hours," Wang Xiumei estimated.

Ran Jinnian hadn't expected to sleep for so long; no wonder An'an kept crying.

She fed An'an milk, and the little one let out a satisfied burp.

"You sleep a little longer, I'll take care of An'an."

An'an now recognizes Wang Xiumei, after all, she took care of him in the family compound for more than two months, and they haven't been separated for long.

"I'm not going to sleep."

Ran Jinnian got up, dressed, and then tidied the quilt.

She went out and burned some more paper money for her grandfather.

"Sister, I left you some food to keep warm in the pot." Wang Caiyue ran over and sat down next to Ran Jinnian.

Ran Jinnian ate a large bowl of noodles and wasn't hungry at all: "I'm not hungry now."

"Tell me if you get hungry later, and I'll get you something."

"Wang Caiyue, you're so considerate to Ran Jinnian, like a lackey."

A mocking voice came from above their heads.
