Ran Jinnian blushed and quickly said, "There are people at home."
Lu Jinyuan looked up and saw two figures in the room.
He quickly released Ran Jinnian, his expression revealing no emotion, but his tense body showed that he was somewhat embarrassed.
"Commander Lu, you're finally back."
Bai Qian greeted everyone in a very natural and generous manner.
Xiao Haili said shyly, "Commander Lu."
Lu Jinyuan responded.
"Oh dear, why are there so many muds on your clothes?" Ran Jinnian then noticed that he was covered in mud.
Lu Jinyuan glanced at it: "An'an did it."
Ran Jinnian looked down and saw that the little guy was covered in mud.
"You two go and change your clothes first."
Ran Jinnian pushed him.
Lu Jinyuan's clothes were already dirty, so he simply picked up An'an and carried her into the room to change.
As soon as Ran Jinnian entered the kitchen, Bai Qian and Xiao Haili walked in.
Bai Qian blinked: "If I had known Commander Lu was coming back today, I shouldn't have stayed for dinner. I'm sorry for disturbing you."
"Yes." Xiao Haili nodded.
Ran Jinnian was both amused and exasperated: "What are you talking about? He's back, so he's back."

Lu Jinyuan changed his clothes and came out to play with An'an in the yard.
Ran Jinnian added another dish and steamed some buns.
"Lu Jinyuan, dinner is ready."

Ran Jinnian placed the little guy's bowl in front of him, and the little guy picked up the spoon and started eating.
