Chapter 70 My Wife Is Right (1/2)

She actually looked through men's undershirts in her online space, and there were quite a few styles. But the styles were all too bright, or they were just plain wool sweaters.

So I have to knit my own sweaters.

Ran Jinnian plans to knit several more pieces, so that her parents and mother-in-law can have one each.

She worked quickly and finished the base layer in no time.

"Ahhh."

Until the little guy started crying from hunger.

Ran Jinnian put down the knitting needles, picked up An'an, fed her, and then left the space.

rain.

It keeps raining.

"Jin Nian, Jin Nian." A series of calls came from outside.

Ran Jinnian saw a figure through the window: "Sister-in-law Zhou."

"Let's go to Liu Guihua's house," Zhou Hongying called out.

Ran Jinnian then remembered that she was supposed to have dinner at Liu Guihua's house today. She checked the time and realized it was already four o'clock.

She quickly said, "Wait a minute."

Ran Jinnian quickly put a hat, scarf, and gloves on An'an, wrapping her up tightly.

Then I packed diapers, bibs, and put them on the little guy's back.

She ran to the kitchen and grabbed a basket filled with potatoes and cabbage.

Then, holding an umbrella and carrying An'an, he quickly walked out.

"Here, let me take it for you." Seeing that it was inconvenient for her to carry the basket, Zhou Hongying reached out and took it from her.

Ran Jinnian didn't mince words: "I almost forgot."

Da Ya and Er Ya, with their younger brother, said, "Aunt Ran."

"Good girl," Ran Jin replied.

“It’s alright, we’re neighbors, I’ll definitely call you when I leave.” Zhou Hongying said, while cursing, “The weather’s getting cold, it’s probably going to rain soon.”

Ran Jinnian held An'an in her arms. The little guy was dressed warmly, with only his eyes wide open showing.

Zhou Hongying praised, "An'an is so energetic."

"The little guy isn't as sleepy as he used to be."

"That's how kids are."

The two chatted as they walked, and when they arrived, there were already some people there.

Because of the heavy rain, everyone was indoors, making it a bit crowded.

Yu Xiuzhi was also there. She glanced at Ran Jinnian, then turned back to continue talking to others.

Everyone greeted Ran Jinnian very warmly when they saw her.

"Ran, please sit down."

"Here, have some dried sweet potato."

"Sit here, have some hot water, are you cold?"

Yu Xiuzhi felt incredibly bitter.

As soon as Ran Jinnian arrived, everyone's attitude changed immediately; they started praising the powerful and belittling the weak.

"Thank you, sister-in-law." Ran Jinnian took the dried sweet potato and added, "It's not cold."

Zhou Hongying rubbed her hands together: "It's freezing cold with this temperature drop. Quick, let me warm myself by the fire."

Hearing Ran Jin say she wasn't cold, she couldn't help but touch her hand: "Oh, your hands are so warm. It's good to be young."

Ran Jin felt guilty.

The cotton-padded jacket she was wearing looked ordinary, but she had actually replaced the cotton inside with goose down, so of course it was warm.

"The little guy is really good-looking."

"The little guy is so cute, I can't help but want to give him a kiss."

"He also has a robust and chubby appearance."

The little guy seemed to know he was being praised, and he kept smiling broadly.

Everyone reached out to touch An'an.

Ran Jinnian looked at everyone's black fingernails and quickly stood up with An'an in her arms: "I've been here for a while and haven't seen Sister Liu yet. I'll go check on her."

Her explanation was perfectly reasonable, and no one noticed anything amiss.

"Sister-in-law Liu".

Ran Jinnian carried the basket inside.
