Chapter 73 An'an Has a Fever (2/2)

Ran Jin nodded.

Li Juan turned and left, secretly thinking that she would get some meat to eat at the cafeteria later.

Ran Jinnian closed the door and went back into the space to eat spicy hot pot. After she finished eating, she found that the little guy seemed to be sleeping too soundly.

When she touched the little one's face, she felt her fingertips were burning hot.

Ran Jinnian's expression changed.

She's been reading parenting books lately.

The little one has a fever; it can't be from a cold, it must be a reaction to the vaccine.

Ran Jinnian found a thermometer and first took the little guy's temperature.

38.5 degrees.

She quickly removed some clothes from An'an's clothes, then searched through her spatial storage and found a medication called a fever-reducing patch. She then followed the instructions on the patch.

Apply the fever-reducing patches to An'an's forehead and armpits.

She then used warm water to wipe An'an's neck, groin, and hands; this is called physical cooling.

Ran Jinnian is currently being observed at home. If her fever does not subside after a long period of time, she will still need to be taken to the hospital.

The little one was fast asleep, making soft, whimpering noises.

Ran Jinnian fed An'an some more water.

Half an hour later.

She checked the baby's temperature again, and it had dropped by 0.5 degrees.

Ran Jinnian continued to wipe An'an's body.

The little one woke up, felt uncomfortable, and started crying.

"Good boy, let Mommy hold you." Ran Jinnian picked up the whimpering little guy, holding a rattle in her hand.

The little guy was squirming violently.

Ran Jinnian held him for a while, then had no choice but to put him in the stroller and push him around.

The little guy was rocking in the car and fell asleep again without realizing it.

Ran Jinnian checked his temperature every now and then and wiped his body repeatedly, and his temperature gradually dropped.

Ran Jin was so focused on An'an in the space that she didn't pay any attention to the time.

When Lu Jinyuan returned, the house was pitch black, and his wife and children were not there.

He turned and walked out again: "Sister-in-law Zhou, is my wife at your house?"

"No." Zhou Hongying was scolding the child when she heard Lu Jinyuan's voice and glanced next door: "Jin Nian isn't home?"

"Um."

“I haven’t seen her leave the house since she came back from the hospital today,” Zhou Hongying said. “I probably didn’t notice when she went out.”

Lu Jinyuan knew the military region was safe, but it was getting late and he didn't know where his wife was: "I'll go look for her."

"It should be nearby." Zhou Hongying is busy with her three children, but she'll be fine in the military region.

Lu Jinyuan searched the family compound but couldn't find his wife and children.

He then suddenly remembered that his wife should be in the virtual space.

I had never encountered anything like this before, so I didn't react immediately.

At home.

Ran Jinnian was busy all afternoon, and only after seeing that An'an's fever had finally subsided did she check the time.

Good heavens.

She quickly led An'an out of the space; it was pitch black outside.

Where is Lu Jinyuan?

Shouldn't they be back by now?

As soon as Ran Jinnian turned on the light, a voice called from outside: "Jinnian, you're back?"

"Sister-in-law Zhou." Ran Jinnian walked out.

Zhou Hongying was somewhat surprised to see Ran Jinnian: "When did you come back? I didn't see you."

There's not a sound at all.

"You were busy just now," Ran Jinnian said calmly.

Zhou Hongying didn't think much of it: "Commander Lu just came back, but when he saw you weren't home, he went out to look for you again."

She had barely finished speaking when Lu Jinyuan returned.

The young couple exchanged a silent glance.

"Honey, An'an was being really fussy just now, so I took him out for a walk for a while," Ran Jinnian said deliberately to Zhou Hongying.
