Ran Jin Nian smelled a odor, and she knew without looking that the little guy had pooped.
She changed his diaper and looked at the pile of clothes. Luckily, it wasn't raining today.
I hadn't gone out to wash clothes for several days, so I decided to go to the river to wash them this afternoon.
"Chirp chirp chirp chirp." The little chicks chirped and chattered.
"Coming, coming. We know you're hungry."
Ran Jinnian prepared some tender vegetable leaves and chopped corn to feed them.
After each feeding, she would clean up thoroughly, leaving no food scraps, so that others wouldn't be able to tell what food she had fed them.
After eating, the chicks huddled together in their cage to rest.
Ran Jinnian swept up the vegetable leaves in the yard again.
Winter has arrived, but the vegetables in the yard are growing quite well, whether from seeds she later obtained from her spatial dimension or not.
She picked two white radishes, intending to make a radish and pork rib soup.
When it's cold, drinking soup makes you feel more comfortable.
"Xiao Ran, your radish is quite big." Someone walked by outside the yard.
Ran Jinnian looked up and asked, "Sister-in-law Huang, Sister-in-law Tan, where are you going?"
"My family sent me some things, and they're a bit heavy, so I asked Shulan to help me pick them up," Huang Pingping said.
"Sister-in-law Huang, Sister-in-law Tan, I have a lot of radishes here. Come and pick a few to take home and eat later."
"Your radishes are growing so well, I won't stand on ceremony."
“Great! My husband likes to eat white radishes, and we’ve just run out of them.”
Huang Pingping didn't stand on ceremony either.
"What's the big deal? We're all family." Ran Jinnian's speech became increasingly fluent.
After Huang Pingping left.
Ran Jinnian picked another bunch of greens. She planned to make a stir-fried greens with shredded pork and a cold black fungus salad for lunch.
She cooks meat dishes in her room. Nowadays, very few families eat meat, so if someone cooks meat, you can definitely smell it.
She had just finished cooking the dishes in the space and brought them out when she heard Huang Pingping's voice from outside.
Ran Jinnian quickly put the dishes into her spatial storage before leaving.
"Xiao Ran, let me pull up a few radishes."
Huang Pingping put two large bags at the door, and then grabbed a handful of dried mushrooms: "These are mushrooms I picked from the mountains near my mother's house and dried. They're so fragrant when you make a soup with them."
People get along better when there is give and take.
As soon as Ran Jinnian got close.
"You stir-fried meat for lunch, it smells so good!" Huang Pingping blurted out.
Ran Jinnian! ! ! !
She herself couldn't smell it.
Huang Pingping's nose is too sensitive! Actually, it's not that it's sensitive, it's just that everyone is very sensitive to the smell of meat.
Huang Pingping felt a little embarrassed after she finished speaking; people can eat whatever they want.
"I haven't eaten meat in a long time, so I cooked some cured pork." Ran Jinnian said without batting an eye; she had already mastered it.
Next time I'm going out after cooking meat, I should either change my clothes or spray something on to cover it up.
One time is nothing.
It's not good to smell it too often.
Huang Pingping didn't smell it like cured meat, but the smell was very faint now, so she couldn't be sure and didn't want to continue the topic: "The radish is over there, right?"
“Yes, that area is all radishes.” Ran Jinnian pointed to the location.
Huang Pingping stepped forward and pulled up three radishes: "These radishes of yours are all growing so well, how did you grow them?"
"These radishes are so juicy, they're growing really well." Tan Shulan picked two white radishes and pinched them with her fingers.
"Perhaps it's because we fertilize too frequently."
Ran Jinnian made up an excuse.
Of course not, her radish seed is from another dimension.
