Chapter 101 The Yang Brothers (1/2)

Hearing her youngest son's loud voice, Wang Jingyi took Su Yue's hand and said with a smile, "The two brothers are back from school, let's go out and see them."

Su Yue nodded. She also wanted to see Yang Yimiao and Yang Yijing, whom Qin Zhizhi had mentioned, who were said to have remained in the Northwest forever in their past lives.

Wang Jingyi pulled Su Yue out the door, where they saw their eldest son with his back to them, obediently closing the door, while their younger son happily swung his schoolbag and strode in.

As Yang Yijing walked, he suddenly noticed two people standing at the entrance of the main room. One was his familiar mother, and the other was his parents' newly adopted goddaughter, his sister Su Yue.

Wang Jingyi said in a teasing tone, "What? Don't you recognize me?"

Yang Yijing immediately responded with a smile: "You are my mother, how could I not recognize you? I was just curious whether the person standing next to you is my sister Su Yue."

Wang Jingyi smiled and said, "You're so glib. That's right, she is Su Yue, and she will be your older sister from now on."

Yang Yimiao closed the door, slowly turned around, looked at Wang Jingyi, called out "Mom", and then looked at Su Yue, gently calling out "Sister Su Yue".

Hearing her two sons happily call Su Yue "sister," Wang Jingyi's face beamed with undisguised joy, and her heart felt warm.

At first, she asked Yang Guohua for permission. When she returned home and met Grandpa Yang and Grandma Yang, the two elders were also very fond of Su Yue.

She was just short of asking her two sons, who were still in school, for their opinions. Unexpectedly, they had no objection to her adopting her as their daughter. In fact, before she even asked them to call her "daughter," they took the initiative to do so.

She thought to herself that her parents must have told her and her brother about this beforehand.

Just then, Grandpa Yang's voice came from the kitchen: "Jingyi, come in for a moment."

Wang Jingyi called out loudly towards the kitchen, "Coming!"

Then she looked at Su Yue and her two sons and said, "You two keep talking, I'll go see what your grandfather wants to see me about."

As soon as Wang Jingyi left, Yang Yijing quickly walked to Su Yue's side and even gestured above their heads.

Su Yue looked puzzled, having no idea what he wanted to do. Then she heard him say casually, "Sister Yueyue, you're a bit short, you only reach my shoulder."

This was the first time Su Yue had ever encountered someone comparing heights with her, especially this "younger brother" she had just met. For a moment, she didn't know how to respond.

Yang Yimiao frowned. "Yang Yijing, how can you talk like that? Sister Yueyue is a woman, this height is just right."

Upon hearing her brother's words, Yang Yijing realized her rashness and blushed. She stammered, "Sister Yueyue, I didn't mean anything by saying you're short."

Yang Yijing is currently 168 centimeters tall, which is actually quite good for a 15-year-old boy.

But he was never satisfied and longed to grow as tall as Fu Shen, so he insisted on getting up early every day to run and playing basketball hard at school. However, after running for several months, his height did not change at all.

This frustrated him so much that whenever he met someone new, regardless of gender, he couldn't help but go up and compare their heights.

Su Yue shook her head slightly and asked curiously, "Don't boys usually compare their height with other boys? You won't get any advantage by comparing with me."

Yang Yimiao explained helplessly, "Sister Yueyue, whenever he sees someone he doesn't know, he has to go up and gesture. Once he almost offended someone and even got into trouble..."

Yang Yijing rushed over and covered Yang Yimiao's mouth with his hand, saying in a panic, "We agreed that we couldn't tell anyone about this!"

Yang Yimiao forcefully pried his hands away, spat, and said disdainfully, "Did you wash your hands after using the toilet?"

Yang Yijing hurriedly explained, "I washed it, it's just the smell of sweat."

Yang Yimiao glared at him irritably, then turned to rinse her mouth.

Yang Yijing quickly chased after him to explain, "It's true, we had PE class during the last period after school, and we played basketball with our classmates."

Listening to the brothers' conversation, Su Yue wondered what exactly meant by "almost offending someone and implicating someone else".
