Chapter 114 Doesn't it feel like the child has grown up a lot? (2/2)

Before setting off, she asked Wang Jingyi, "Godmother, do you want to come along?"

Wang Jingyi smiled gently, shook her head and said, "No, you and Grandma go ahead, I still have two little outfits to finish."

It was for making clothes for Su Yue's unborn child.

Su Yue couldn't do needlework, and Grandma Yang's eyesight was poor, so the task naturally fell to Wang Jingyi.

Su Yue looked at her with gratitude and said softly, "Thank you, godmother."

During her time in Beicheng, Su Yue went grocery shopping with Wang Jingyi many times.

Every time Wang Jingyi went to buy other groceries, she would make an excuse to buy meat, but in reality, she would secretly take it out of her spatial storage.

The same thing happened when buying fruit. Whenever Wang Jingyi and Grandma Yang were shopping at the store next door, she would sneak out, saying she was going to buy fruit.

Often, by the time they realize she's gone, she's already back with the fruit she's "bought."

Even before her baby was born, Wang Jingyi had already begun meticulously making clothes for the child.

They were all doing their best to treat her well, and she was silently reciprocating that care in her own way.

Wang Jingyi looked at Su Yue and shook her head helplessly: "Go shopping with Grandma."

When they arrived at the small park, Su Yue and Grandma Yang sat down to listen to the women gossiping excitedly, their conversation still revolving around Gong Shufen and her daughter-in-law.

It simply means that Gong Shufen is now completely under her daughter-in-law's control, and she even needs her daughter-in-law's permission to go out.

Ever since she recommended Yang Yimiao and his group's trip to the countryside to Gao Qiang's wife, even when she goes out, everyone makes excuses to leave whenever they see her, unwilling to say another word to her.

After listening for a few minutes, Su Yue found it boring and quietly told Grandma Yang that she wanted to take a walk outside the park.

Upon hearing this, Grandma Yang decided not to listen to any more gossip and insisted on going out with Su Yue.

Su Yue pointed to the entrance of the small park and said, "I'll just walk around there. You can see me even if you sit here."

Grandma Yang looked in the direction she pointed and saw that she could indeed see it. She then instructed, "If you want to go somewhere far away, be sure to tell Grandma, and Grandma will go with you."

Su Yue nodded: "I understand, Grandma."

After Su Yue left, the old lady next to her looked at Grandma Yang and said with envy, "You are so good to Su Yue. Not only you, your whole family treats her very well."

Having lived most of their lives, this was the first time they had ever seen someone treat a granddaughter who wasn't their own as with the same meticulous care as a biological granddaughter.

Grandma Yang's face beamed with a happy smile as she said, "Yueyue is also very good to us."

Su Yue walked out onto the road, her steps slow and leisurely.

Just then, an SUV sped past on the opposite side of the road.

Fu Shen, who was sitting in the car, immediately saw Su Yue walking alone by the roadside and quickly asked Lu Yunting to stop the car.

As soon as the car came to a stop, Fu Shen eagerly opened the door, looked around, and seeing that there were no other vehicles on the road, he quickly ran over.

As he approached Su Yue, he called out breathlessly, "Yueyue."

Su Yue had only walked a short distance when she heard that familiar voice, and she thought she was hallucinating.

She slowly turned around, and when she saw Fu Shen running towards her from the opposite direction, a bright smile instantly bloomed on her face. She asked in surprise, "What are you doing here?"

What she really wanted to ask was whether he was here to pick her up, but looking at Fu Shen's current appearance, she felt it didn't seem like it.

Fu Shen had a full beard and his eyes showed fatigue and vicissitude. He looked somewhat similar to Huo Xueshen, whom he had met in the village.

Fu Shen stared intently at Su Yue's face, then his gaze involuntarily fell on her prominent belly. For a moment, he forgot to answer Su Yue's question.

Seeing his expression, Su Yue couldn't help but gently touch her belly, a tender smile on her face, and said, "Doesn't it feel like the baby has grown a lot?"
