Chapter 181 What are your relationships with Old Su? (1/2)

Fu Shen walked over with steady steps, sat on the edge of the bed, and looked at Su Yue and Ping An.

Su Yue cast a questioning glance at him and asked softly, "Why aren't you saying anything? We're all going. What about Ping An? Not to mention the inconvenience of the journey, the weather there is cold, and I'm afraid Ping An won't be able to adapt to it in a while."

When Ping An saw her father, her eyes lit up instantly, and she excitedly climbed into his lap and sat down.

Fu Shen stretched out his strong arms and held his son firmly, a doting smile playing on his lips. "It'll be convenient on the way."

Su Yue frowned slightly, her eyes full of worry: "How can it be convenient? You forgot about Ping An's serious germaphobia. He has to change his clothes if he sweats even a little bit. Even if his clothes are only slightly dirty, he won't accept it after you brush them off. He keeps saying they're dirty."

She originally thought things would get better as Ping An grew older, but who could have imagined that his obsessive-compulsive disorder would become even more pronounced after he started babbling?

Unlike when he was a few months old, when he would only whine softly when he was unhappy, now he directly pulls at his clothes and anxiously shouts that he wants to be changed.

Fu Shen pondered for a moment, "I haven't forgotten. When the time comes, put enough hot water in the space, and I'll buy tickets for the entire carriage. You can take him in to clean up."

Su Yue looked down at Ping An, at his large eyes that were just like hers, and said, "This is the only way."

Money wasn't a problem for their family; they were willing to spend the money to buy the entire small carriage.

Since she had Huo Xueshen and Fu Shen's salaries every month, she could never spend all of them, so Su Yue saved all the money.

The next day, Fu Shen went to the army early in the morning to ask for leave, and then went to buy train tickets without stopping.

Meanwhile, Su Yue was at home, carefully packing the thick clothes they would be wearing, folding each piece neatly.

Buying a ticket for the entire carriage and having space available is indeed much more convenient.

On the last day of his train journey, Fu Shen also went into the space and took a long, refreshing shower.

After they had eaten and drunk their fill on the train, and waited until almost everyone else had disembarked, the family leisurely got off the train.

Upon arriving at the village where Lao Su lived, Su Yue and Fu Shen inquired around and finally found the village secretary's house.

When the village secretary heard that Su Yue and her group had come to see Old Su, he looked very surprised.

Old Su has been here for over ten years and has never heard of anyone coming to see him. How come someone came to his door so soon after the resumption of the college entrance examination?

Old Su had no memory of the past, so the village secretary felt it necessary to find out their identities: "Who are you to Old Su?"

Fu Shen: "I have a comrade who has been here for two years. When he went back, he told us about Lao Su. It sounded like our father. Many years ago, he went into the water to save someone but couldn't get up and was swept away by the flood. We always thought he was gone. But after hearing the news from my comrade, we came to see if it was really him."

The village party secretary nodded thoughtfully: "The comrade-in-arms you're talking about is Comrade Wang Renyi, right?"

He had only ever seen one soldier who had contact with Lao Su, and that person was Wang Renyi.

He felt much more at ease when it was Wang Renyi who brought it up.

Fu Shen nodded: "Yes, please take us to see him."

The village secretary looked up at the gloomy sky and said, "Old Su isn't home right now. I'll take you there when he gets back. Rest at my house for a while first."

Su Yue's eyes were full of urgency as she looked at the village secretary and asked softly, "We'd like to go to his house and wait there, is that alright?"

The village party secretary paused slightly, hesitated for a moment, and then said, "Okay."

He knew that Old Su had a peculiar habit: he didn't like strangers coming to his house.

But looking at the people in front of him, the man was tall and had the air of a soldier, the woman had a beautiful face and friendly eyes, and the child the man was holding was wearing a hat, his little face covered up, only revealing a pair of round, curious eyes.

Moreover, they are very likely to be Lao Su's relatives, so there shouldn't be any problem waiting at his house.

He secretly hoped that they were Old Su's relatives, so that Old Su could leave this place and live a normal life.
