For lunch, Su Yue prepared something quite simple: a stir-fried loofah with pork and a side of green vegetables.
Ping An ate lunch at school and rested on campus during the midday break.
After the meal, Su Yue looked at Fu Shen with a probing gaze and asked softly, "Did you have someone tamper with Tian Wenxiu's brother's drink?"
Fu Shen had never revealed to her what he planned to do with the Tian family.
Fu Shen remained calm. "No, his wine was problematic to begin with. I just happened to report it."
Previously, he had secretly wondered how many difficulties he would face in getting Tian Jianshan's second son into the police force.
Unexpectedly, after Xiao Zhang thoroughly investigated Tian Guang, he discovered that the problems with this man were enough to ruin him if someone reported them.
Su Yue smiled and teased, "Your 'spontaneous' move is really impressive. I even saw Tian Jianshan come to the unit to see Brigade Commander Xie. Judging from his dejected and utterly dejected appearance when he left, Brigade Commander Xie probably didn't agree to help him."
Fu Shen's eyes were resolute. "Even if they come, it will be of no use. Commander Xie will not agree."

Su Yue asked curiously, "How did Commander Xie respond?"
Fu Shen: "He didn't show any objection after hearing this. I think he must have known about the character of those two brothers-in-law for a long time. He has reached his current position, so he must be more cautious in his actions. Unfortunately, he has two such troublesome brothers-in-law. He can't say much. On the other side, after Tian Jianshan left, Tian Wenxiu looked gloomy and worried.
Seeing this, Xie Songqing had no choice but to speak up and remind them: "The child that your father stole and abandoned more than 30 years ago has returned."
