Chapter 661 Listening to Teachings

However, the driver seemed not to hear her and continued driving into the sparsely populated narrow alley.

Cha Meiling's alarm bells rang, and she suddenly realized that something was wrong. The original driver was suddenly unwell, and the driver in front of her was a new driver who had only been there for three days!

She shouted sternly, "Stop the car! What do you want?!"

As she spoke, she immediately reached for the car door, only to find it locked!

The driver glanced at her coldly in the rearview mirror: "Miss Anne, calm down, someone wants to see you!"

Cha Meiling choked, suddenly recalling the kidnappings of wealthy individuals that had occurred in recent years!

"Damn it!" she cursed under her breath, and began to survey the car, trying to find tools to save herself.

The secretary, pale with fright from the sudden turn of events, grabbed Cha Meiling's arm in a panic and asked incoherently, "Miss Annie, what do we do? Are we being kidnapped?"

"Shut up!" Cha Meiling impatiently shook off her hand, her gaze falling on the secretary's handbag placed to the side.

Her eyes lit up. "Give me your bag!"

Before the secretary could react, Cha Meiling snatched the handbag away, quickly unzipped it, and began rummaging through it.

"Miss Anne, what are you doing!" The secretary instinctively tried to snatch her bag back, but was so frightened by Cha Meiling's cold gaze that she dared not move.

Cha Meiling quickly found a small, exquisite fruit knife in her bag.

She said she remembered correctly that the secretary always carried a fruit knife with her.

She gripped the knife handle tightly, her gaze icy as she stared ahead. Calmly, she whispered to her secretary, "I'll find a chance to grab him by the neck later. You need to cooperate and control the driver, understand?"

The secretary nodded, her face pale. Although she was scared, she knew that she had no choice but to trust Cha Meiling.

Cha Meiling took a deep breath, staring intently at the road ahead, waiting for the best opportunity.

Suddenly, the car braked sharply and came to a stop.

Both Cha Mei-ling and her secretary were thrown forward by inertia and nearly hit the front seats.

Just then, she looked up and saw a dilapidated van in front of her suddenly open its door.

“Oh God…” Cha Meiling’s heart sank suddenly, and a sense of fear surged into her heart.

Several burly men dressed in black jumped out of the van and rudely opened the doors.

Before she could react, a rough, large hand reached into the car, grabbed her hair, and dragged Cha Meiling out of the car.

"Who are you? What do you want? Do you know who I am!" Cha Meiling screamed in pain, struggling frantically. Her high heels made her feel utterly disgusted as they stomped on the dirty ground.

"Stop talking nonsense! Come with us!" a man shouted impatiently, hoisting her onto his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Cha Meiling felt a sudden dizziness and her stomach churned. She desperately patted the man's back, but to no avail.

"Let me go! Help! Help—" Her cries for help echoed in the empty alley, but no one answered her.

The residents of the alley closed their doors and windows, pretending not to see anything.

Cha Meiling was roughly thrown into a van.

Several men jumped into the car, which then started and sped away from the dark alley as if nothing had happened.

Cha Meiling huddled in the corner of the carriage, still shaken. In the dim light, she could make out the faces of the men.

These men were clearly not good people; they all had fierce expressions on their faces and cold eyes that sent chills down your spine.

"Who...who are you people? What do you want to do to me?" Cha Meiling asked, her voice trembling as she suppressed her fear.

Nobody paid any attention to her.

One of the men pulled a rag covered in dirt from his pocket and roughly stuffed it into Cha Meiling's mouth, then sealed her mouth with black tape.

"Ugh..." Cha Meiling stared wide-eyed in terror, shaking her head and struggling desperately, but to no avail.

She had no idea what she was about to face; fear, like a cold snake, coiled tightly around her heart, making it almost impossible for her to breathe…

The van sped away, leaving Cha Meiling's secretary slumped on the ground, pale-faced, unable to recover for a long time.

She rushed out of the alley, trembling, and hastily pulled out some coins to dial the police from a public phone, incoherently describing what had just happened to the operator.

"Hello, is this the police? My... my boss has been kidnapped! Please come quickly!"

Regent Hotel, VIP Lounge.

Ning Bingyu straightened his tie in front of the mirror, making sure there wasn't a single wrinkle.

Today he was wearing a bespoke dark gray suit, the fit of which accentuated his tall and imposing figure.

His handsome features, paired with a pair of deep black eyes, give him a mature and charming look.

"Young Master, Miss Cha's secretary has reported that she was kidnapped on her way to the hotel." Tony pushed open the door and came in, his tone somewhat grave.

The police station has its own information channels, and Tony found out about Cha Meiling's kidnapping immediately.

Ning Bingyu raised an eyebrow slightly, showing little surprise, and simply asked, "Who called the police?"

“She’s Miss Cha’s secretary; she should still be at the police station,” Tony said.

"Tell the Second Madam that Annie has something come up and can't attend the banquet." Ning Bingyu took the gold-rimmed glasses handed to him by his female secretary.

"No need to say anything else, the auction is about to begin, and today is the day Ning Yuan is returning, so don't let her down."

“Yes, Inspector Lee asked about your plans?” Tony nodded and continued.

Ning Bingyu put on his gold-rimmed glasses and calmly instructed, "Three things: First, have the people following Cha Meiling keep a close eye on her, so as not to alert her. Second, have the police pretend they didn't receive a report."

Tony frowned slightly: "Young Master, what if something happens to Miss Annie, and the Second Madam finds out you're not going to help..."

Ning Bingyu said calmly, "What could possibly happen when a father and daughter are reunited? At most, she'll get a beating. What's wrong with a father disciplining his daughter? She loves her father so much, she'll definitely be willing to listen to his teachings."

He gently adjusted his tie: "The third thing is to call Rong Zhaonan and have him bring people to handle and follow up on this matter."

Tony was taken aback: "Mr. Rong is already in Shenzhen?"

Ning Bingyu gave a slight smile: "Yes, the usual procedure. You tell the customs officers that it's my idea. They shouldn't be patrolling tonight to catch illegal immigrants. Instead, have someone wait in a speedboat in the middle of the sea to pick up Anan and his men."

Tony said in a deep voice, "Yes!"

“Young Master,” Tony paused, frowning as if he wanted to say something but hesitated.

"Is there anything else?" Ning Bingyu raised an eyebrow.

“Cha Meiling’s mother, Qiu Liyun, wants to see you. Please save Cha Meiling,” Tony whispered.

"She kept crying and making a scene at the police station, saying that you are Meiling's fiancé and you can't just stand by and watch her die..."
