Chapter 673 Security Expert

Ning Manfei screamed and quickly grabbed Ning Bing'an's hand, pulling him back two steps.

Her eyes widened in anger, and she pointed at Rong Zhaonan's nose, yelling, "You barbarian! Who gave you permission to lay a hand on me?! How dare you cause trouble in the Ning family! Guards! Arrest this thug!"

Ning Manfei's scream was shrill and sharp, startling the bodyguards waiting outside the door. In an instant, seven or eight bodyguards in black, carrying stun guns and weapons, rushed in menacingly and surrounded the stairwell.

Rong Zhaonan stood on the stairs, and the two team members behind him were also well-trained. Upon hearing the commotion, they immediately rushed downstairs with great momentum. They had never been afraid of fighting!

Rong Zhaonan casually raised his hand to signal them to calm down.

He leaned lazily against the carved armrest, looking at Ning Bing'an with a hint of amusement: "Young Master Bing'an, does it still hurt?"

Ning Bing'an frowned. He realized that his wrist was indeed no longer in pain, but the excruciating pain he had experienced before was real.

The other party acted quickly and ruthlessly; it was definitely intentional!

“You harbor deep hostility towards me,” Ning Bing’an said coldly, looking at Rong Zhaonan, “Why?”

“Hate?” Rong Zhaonan chuckled, his tone tinged with mockery. “Young Master Bing’an is joking. It’s like you like to help women tie their shoelaces, while I like to help people set their bones.”

The other party denied it verbally, but his eyes were arrogant and malicious.

Ning Bing'an frowned, a slight thought stirring within him.

Enraged, Ning Manfei pointed at Rong Zhaonan's nose and yelled, "Where did this barbarian come from, running wild in the Ning family? Who do you think you are..."

"What kind of behavior is this, making such a racket!"

An aged and dignified voice, accompanied by the dull thud of a wheelchair rolling over the carpet, came from the restaurant entrance.

Butler Tian and his secretary, Old Gu, pushed a sprightly, stern-faced old man in a wheelchair on either side of him as he slowly entered.

The old man was none other than the previous patriarch of the Ning family, Old Master Ning.

"Master...Master..." Ning Manfei's angry cursing stopped abruptly, as if someone had grabbed her by the neck, her face turning red and white in turns.

Although Grandpa Ning could no longer walk and looked very old with gray hair, he combed it meticulously.

Although his face was covered with wrinkles, his seemingly cloudy eyes revealed the depth of someone who had long held a high position.

Everyone immediately tensed up and bowed in greeting.

Grandpa Ning's gaze slowly swept over everyone, finally landing on Rong Zhaonan, who was wearing a black combat uniform and a black mask, and his team members behind him on the stairs.

A glint of light flashed in Old Ning's cloudy eyes, and then he raised his hand.

Secretary Gu immediately understood and stepped forward, sternly reprimanding the bodyguards: "What are you all standing there for? Get out of here! This is the Ning family home, not your training ground!"

The bodyguards exchanged glances, immediately put away their weapons, and quickly retreated.

Ning Manfei was seething with anger, but dared not retort.

She could only glare resentfully at Rong Zhaonan, then reluctantly pulled Ning Bing'an's arm and walked up to Old Master Ning, acting coquettishly—

"Grandpa, you're finally back! You have no idea how scary it was just now... This madman appeared out of nowhere and attacked Bing'an as soon as he came in!"

"It's all a misunderstanding. Things haven't been peaceful lately, so A-Yu invited experts here. Just cooperate with their work," Old Master Ning coldly interrupted her.

The old man glanced at Ning Bing'an.

Ning Bing'an then lowered his eyes and said calmly, "Yes, it's all a misunderstanding, Grandpa. I'll go back to my room now."

After the old man nodded, Ning Bing'an turned and left.

Ning Manfei stomped her foot, glared at Rong Zhaonan and the other two with a sullen face, and hurriedly chased after Ning Bing'an.

"Bing'an, slow down, I'll call the family doctor over!"

Rong Zhaonan stood on the stairs, taking in everyone's reactions.

A playful smile curved his lips. The old master was the pillar of the Ning family.

The old man looked at Rong Zhaonan and said calmly, "Thank you for your hard work. I'm sorry to trouble you with your care these past few days. The younger generation in the family is ignorant and inconsiderate."

Rong Zhaonan nodded slightly, neither humble nor arrogant: "Grandpa, you're too kind. This is what I should do."

The old man gave him a deep look, but ultimately said nothing more, and had the butler and secretary push him back to his room.

But in the eyes of the Ning family servants and bodyguards, this was enough to explain everything—

Even the old man gave these strange "British security" experts face.

Seeing everyone scatter in the living room, Rong Zhaonan smiled slightly and casually made his signature hand gesture.

The two team members behind him exchanged a glance and, understanding each other, went upstairs to the meeting room they were temporarily using to rest, where the other team members were already there.

Rong Zhaonan simply put his hands in his pockets, lazily turned around, and went out the gate towards the garden.

But only a moment later, the Ning family bodyguards who had been secretly watching his movements discovered that Rong Zhaonan had suddenly disappeared behind a tree.

"Where did they go? How could they disappear in the blink of an eye?"

"What the hell? It can't possibly fly, can it?"

The lead bodyguard immediately used a walkie-talkie to tell Ning Bingyu, "Young Master, the British expert has disappeared. Should we go look for him?"

Ning Bingyu was looking at a world shipping map in his study. Hearing this, he remained silent for a moment, then said calmly, "No need to look anymore. The British experts can go wherever they want."

The bodyguards exchanged glances, and although they had their doubts, they could only give up.

In the moonlight, a figure appeared in just over ten seconds. He had already nimbly and lightly climbed onto the third-floor balcony like a leopard and landed steadily.

Only a dim bedside lamp was left on in the room, its orange light adding a touch of warmth.

Rong Zhaonan silently pushed open the glass door to the balcony, his movements gentle so as not to wake the person sleeping soundly in bed.

Ning Yuan curled up in the soft quilt, revealing a section of her fair and jade-like shoulder, which still bore ambiguous red marks—his "masterpiece" from before.

Rong Zhaonan's gaze softened instantly. He leaned down and gently stroked her cheek with his long, slender fingers, his movements as gentle as if he were handling a precious piece of porcelain.

"That rabbit spirit is sleeping soundly."

His voice was low and husky, with a hint of barely perceptible doting affection.

He carefully tucked the blanket around her to make sure she wouldn't catch a cold.

Then, he straightened up, looked at her for a long time, leaned down, and gently placed a tender kiss on her smooth forehead.
