Bai Xue laughed in anger. Just as she was thinking of what to say to the man, Lin Shanshan picked up a glass of lemonade, walked up to the man, and splashed it hard on his hypocritical face.
The man was soaked to the bone and was about to retaliate when Gu Yiye stood in front of Lin Shanshan. The fierce aura emanating from him was like a mountain, pressing down heavily on the man.
Gu Yiye did not make a move, but the man suddenly felt that even breathing was difficult.
Lin Shanshan peeked out from behind Gu Yiye and said, "I only splashed you with cold water, and you can't even handle it? If I splashed hot coffee on your face, you would jump up and hit me, right?"
Under Gu Yiye's intimidating presence, the man dared not utter a sound.

Lin Shanshan raised her pretty little chin, then picked up a glass of water and poured it over Huang Daren's mother.
The woman was sitting on the ground when Lin Shanshan looked down at her and said, "This glass of water is to calm you down. Huang Daren's death sentence is entirely his own fault."
"If we have to find a scapegoat, then the person who harmed him is you and his father. The father is to blame for the son's misbehavior. You'd better reflect on your actions. If I see you again, I won't even need my man to lift a finger; I'll kill you!"
After Lin Shanshan finished speaking, she had no intention of appreciating Huang Daren's mother's ever-changing expressions. She didn't plan to stay any longer and walked out of the coffee shop with Gu Yiye and Bai Xue, getting into the car to go home.
Lin Shanshan sat in the back seat with Bai Xue, glanced at Bai Xue's face and found that it was no longer red, but still asked with concern, "Mom, does your face still hurt?"
Bai Xue shook her head, her eyes filled with relief; her daughter-in-law was calling her "Mom" now.
This coffee was well worth the pour!
Bai Xue got splashed with coffee because of her young wife, so Gu Yiye asked, "Mom, do we need to go to the hospital?"
Bai Xue replied with a smile, "It's alright now. Shan Shan immediately applied cold water to my skin, and I don't feel anything at all. I don't know if it's just my imagination, but my skin feels a bit better."
Lin Shanshan smiled and said, "It's because Mom takes good care of herself; her skin is as smooth as a young girl's."
Bai Xue was coaxed into smiling broadly: "Girls are so much better, they're so considerate. My good-for-nothing youngest son just knows how to annoy me, he's even gotten several wrinkles from it."
When talking about his half-brother, Gu Yiye felt nothing. He had never even met him, so what could he possibly feel?
Bai Xue didn't say much. She asked Gu Yiye to take her to the guesthouse and then left. When she got out of the car, she said reluctantly, "Shanshan, accompany your mother shopping when you have time."
Lin Shanshan naturally agreed. Even if Bai Xue wasn't Gu Yiye's mother, just for the fact that she had just shielded her from the hot coffee, she had to spend some quality time with Bai Xue.
