After leaving Zhang Qiaoyue's house, Song Qingyun drove directly back to the county.
She left early today and the children were still in school when she got home.
It was rare for Xia Weian to come back a little early.
The couple were both stunned when they met.
"Why are you back so early?" the two asked in unison, then chuckled.
"I happened to have a job to pick someone up today. After picking up the person and sending him to the guesthouse, I had nothing else to do, so I came back early." Xia Weian said.
"I went to Tong County today." Song Qingyun told Xia Weian about his trip to Tong County to find Bai Xiaodie and encountering them chasing Wang Cui.
"Wang Cui is quite alert."
"Who would have thought that a girl under 20 years old could escape from such a tight siege? There's clearly something wrong with her."
