Su Xu went to the shed where Zheng Yanni was being held.
Upon seeing Su Xu, Zheng Yanni stood up defiantly, snorted, and said, "Your wife is really no good! She actually said I pushed her! What? In the end, wasn't it your family who got the money?"
"You're threatening me! I'm not afraid of your threats! Hah!"
"Anyway, I don't have a single penny." Zheng Yanni said to herself, and for some reason, she suddenly felt the temperature around her drop several degrees.
The man's face was terrifying, his gaze chilling like an ice blade. Zheng Yanni swallowed hard and said, "I'm telling the truth! Why are you looking at me like that?"
Su Xu lowered his brows, his gaze devoid of warmth. He twitched the corner of his mouth, as if he were smiling, but it didn't quite seem like it.

"You're dreaming." Su Xu gently opened the door and walked in. "The money was of course given by Zheng Laosan. Otherwise, would you be able to stay here comfortably right now?"
"What?!" Zheng Yanni jumped up from the haystack in anger. "He's really rich! He actually dared to take money behind my back!"
“Zheng Laosan gave me the money voluntarily, and I didn’t say a word. It seems your man doesn’t listen to you much.” Su Xu looked at her lightly, turned slightly, and said, “You can go home now.”

Zheng Yanni practically ran all the way back to Zhengjiazhuang, partly because she was afraid of Su Xu's face, and partly because she was seething with anger and waiting to get home and fight Zheng Laosan.
"Zheng Laosan, you come out here!" Zheng Yanni kicked open the door, stood at the doorway catching her breath, and shouted again, "Zheng Laosan!"
"You're back?" Old Zheng San walked out of the house listlessly, his eyelids drooping.
Even now, his neck still hurts, his head is buzzing, and his voice is so hoarse that he can't speak at all.
Zheng Yanni went up and shoved him, "You bastard! You gave the money to Su Xu?"
"You even gave it to me willingly! You have so much money at home, did you burn it?" Zheng Yanni went up and slapped Zheng Laosan several times on the neck.
Having narrowly escaped death, Zheng Laosan was furious. He had already died once, and he didn't want to suffer this humiliation again.
With his arm raised high, Zheng Laosan reached out to strike.
"Hit me! Hit me! You want to hit me?" Zheng Yanni jumped and bumped into Zheng Laosan. "If you don't hit me today, you're not a man!"
"Fine, I'll show you whether I'm a man or not!" With that, Zheng Laosan, his eyes red, slapped Zheng Yanni across the face with his large hand, the force of the blow sending a jolt through the air.
A slap sent Zheng Yanni staggering. Covering her face, she stared blankly at Zheng Laosan before getting up from the ground. "I'll fight you to the death!"
Then came the sounds of things being smashed and broken, along with a woman's screams, coming from Zheng Laosan's house.
A crowd had gathered around, but no one dared to step forward to break up the fight.
With a bang, Zheng Yanni pushed open the door and came out, yelling at the onlookers, "What are you looking at! Get out!"
She carried her bundle and walked angrily forward; she was going back to her parents' home!
Zheng Yanni's family home was also in Zhengjiazhuang, but it wasn't very close. Zheng Yanni was sulking and walked forward with her neck stiff.
Suddenly she saw the man in front of her standing at the crossroads, smiling at her.
