His tie was straightened, his clothes were stretched out, and Su Xu tidied himself up, returning to his proper, upright appearance.
"Hey!" Liu Nian pouted. Was Su Xu just teasing her?
“We all need to be careful during this period.” Su Xu sat in his chair with his legs crossed, glanced at Liu Nian with a deep look in his eyes, and then turned on his phone and played a calming mantra.
As the chanting of Buddhist hymns rang out, Liu Nian chuckled. Sure enough, all men are the same—this guy's come for revenge!
Liu Nian stretched out her hand, gritting her teeth, and said, "You owe me one too, remember that."
