"Didn't Wu Qi insist on dating her?"
"Which fox did you hear say they were slutty?"
Several people nodded and looked over again. Liu Nian felt that she couldn't see clearly, so she got up and walked to the door.
Wu Qi looked around and, seeing that there were many people, said somewhat awkwardly, "Let's go, let's find a place to talk."
He stepped forward and pulled Sun Tian aside, but Sun Tian shook him off, crossed her arms, and said, "You're ruining my reputation right here. I'll explain in front of everyone."
"What's there to explain?" Wu Qi looked at Sun Tian with disbelief. "Your reputation is ruined? As for me, if it weren't for you, would I be with Su Fenghuang and be called Chen Shimei (a notorious figure in Chinese folklore known for abandoning his wife)?"
"Wu Qi!" Sun Tian shouted angrily, "If you're not willing, you don't have to be with me. You're thinking of Su Feng and you're still dating me. Who do you think you're being fair to?"
Everyone nodded in agreement. "That's right. Wu Qi was in the wrong."
Wu Qi retorted, "You knew perfectly well that Su Feng and I were still together, yet you said you didn't mind. You brought up my sister's job, otherwise why would I have gone on a blind date with you? Don't act like you're so innocent!"
These people then felt that Wu Qi's words made sense.
"Using your sister's situation to put pressure on me?" Sun Tian scoffed. "It was clearly your sister who wanted to use you to get a better job, and she even came to my house to propose a blind date because she liked me!"
"You're talking nonsense! It was clearly your family who brought it up first!"
The two started arguing, neither willing to concede.
The crowd exchanged glances and began to discuss their opinions, saying, "Why are there different versions of this story?"
"I think they're a good match. Let them be together and not ruin other people's lives."
"I think so too."
Liu Nian nodded; she agreed, believing that locking it up was the best course of action.
"If I had known it would turn out like this, why did I break up with Su Feng!" Wu Qi glanced at Sun Tian. "If we're going to break up, then we're breaking up. Don't regret it."
Sun Tian scoffed, "You're the one who'll regret it."
Wu Qi got into the car and drove towards Su Feng's house.
Upon seeing this, the group immediately called out to each other, "Let's go watch the show! I bet Wu Qi is going to get back together with Su Feng!"
"I have to go and see, I can't let Su Feng suffer a loss." Liu Nian followed the others and hurried towards Su Feng's house.
After all, Wu Qi was driving and was a step ahead of everyone else. When everyone arrived, Wu Qi was knocking on Su Feng's door.
"Su Feng! Open the door, I have something to say to you!"
Everyone stopped and watched from a distance.
No matter how much Wu Qi knocked on the door, it remained closed.
Wu Qi became even more anxious and pleaded, "Su Feng, there's a misunderstanding between us. I was forced to be with Sun Tian back then, as you know. Please, open the door and let me explain."
As a result, he was met with disdain from everyone, who said, "What's there to be forced about? This is just nonsense."
For the first time, Liu Nian felt that the villagers weren't just opportunists, and silently nodded.
As soon as the door opened, Wu Qi was about to speak when Su Feng splashed a basin of water out.
Then she coldly uttered a single word, "Get out!"
