Chapter 218 The Feeling of Being Surrounded by Money
Su Xu frowned and whispered what the saleswoman had said to Liu Nian.
As expected, she was disliked. Liu Nian chuckled, raised an eyebrow dismissively, and said with a smile, "Okay, then let's make sure she remembers it well."
The mansions here are currently priced in the hundreds of thousands, and they belong to wealthy businessmen from Hong Kong. They drive in in luxury cars, accompanied by servants, making quite a grand entrance.
So, because they were so low-key and frugal, the saleswoman looked down on them.
As the saying goes, a dog looks down on people.
Liu Nian didn't say anything, glanced at the saleswoman, and then lowered her head to study the houses.
The saleswoman, probably annoyed by her, said in broken Mandarin, "If you don't have the money to buy, don't come here. This place is not for country bumpkins like you."
She wore exquisite makeup, glanced at people out of the corner of her eye, and rolled her eyes dramatically.
"What do you think of this place?" Liu Nian still ignored her and turned to Su Xu in a low voice, "It's said that the luxury homes here will fetch billions in the future!"
Su Xu nodded and said, "Then let's buy a few more sets."
Su Xu spoke these words in Cantonese, and he did so very loudly that the saleswoman heard him clearly, but she snorted inwardly.
You want to buy a few more sets? Do you think you're going out to buy clothes and can just buy as many sets as you want? Why are you pretending to be rich when you're dressed so shabbily?
She had just been upset with a client and was looking for a way to vent, so she said irritably, "Don't pretend to be rich here. If you have that money, go buy some decent clothes first."
Her eyes swept over them up and down, her disdain evident.
Liu Nian said to Su Xu, "Tell her that she missed out on a large commission."
Su Xu then repeated it to her in Cantonese. The saleswoman covered her mouth, chuckled, and said, "I really don't have that kind of luck."
Suddenly, a commotion broke out at the entrance. A stylishly dressed woman walked in, wearing high heels, followed by several bodyguards carrying bags. She looked like she had just finished a shopping spree at the mall.
"Oh, Mrs. Chen! You've arrived!" She immediately ran over with an exaggerated smile, pushing aside the other girl who was greeting her.
“I’ll stay here, you go and greet them.” She pointed at Liu Nian, glared at the girl, and said, “Hurry up and go.”
The girl's name was Chen Zhaodi. She had only been here for a short time and didn't have any good resources, so she walked towards Liu Nian and Su Xu with her head down.
But as she approached Liu Nian and Su Xu, she immediately put on a smile and greeted them warmly, saying, "Hello, madam and sir, I will now receive you."
Then she poured water for Liu Nian and Su Xu.
Liu Nian looked at her and nodded, saying, "Could you give us a brief introduction?"
Chen Zhaodi showed no impatience and explained to Liu Nian and Su Xu word by word in her still-unfluent Mandarin.
"That's the situation. Is there anything else you don't understand?" Chen Zhaodi bent down and looked at Liu Nian with a smile.
Liu Nian simply said, "There are still a few units of this type left."
"What?" Chen Zhaodi seemed not to understand. "What did you say?"
Liu Nian put down her cup and said calmly, "How many sets do you have left? I'll take them all."
"You want them all?" Chen Zhaodi stared blankly at Liu Nian, confirming several times. "You mean you want them all? Do you mean you want them all?"
This amused Liu Nian and Su Xu. "Of course, that's exactly what I mean."
Chen Zhaodi slowly widened her eyes, opened her mouth, and then said with delight, "Okay, wait here, let me show you the house first?"
