Chapter 224 Give me my household registration book, I want to get married.

Seeing her son's disdainful look, Liu Nian felt a little ashamed. So that's how it is.

"Our Da Bao is so smart! You actually figured everything out!" Liu Nian smiled sheepishly and patted Da Bao's head.

Da Bao calmly tidied Liu Nian's messy hair, then asked casually, "Why aren't you going to find Er Bao? What are you waiting here for?"

"Yes." Liu Nian, reminded, immediately rushed towards the door. "Today you're going to your aunt's house. She'll take you and Dawei to school together!"

These days, without a cell phone, contacting people is inconvenient. Liu Nian suddenly remembered about cell phones. She immediately turned on her phone, found Erbao's live stream, and saw that the little rascal was happily eating breakfast with his dear sister Qianqian at a food stall near the school gate!

The child wasn't hurt at all, and his eyes were practically glued to the little girl's face. He would take a bite of a wonton, glance at the little girl, and grin foolishly, looking as simple-minded as a simpleton.

Su Xu glanced at it, focusing on the car, but couldn't help but complain about his son, "My second son inherited my infatuation, but I'm really not that much of a fanatic, am I?"

"Seriously, it's unbearable to watch." Liu Nian rubbed her forehead, watching Erbao keep piling wontons into Qianqian's bowl. "Eat more."

Then Erbao stopped eating, cupped his face in his hands, and kept grinning foolishly at Qianqian.

Liu Nian wondered if Er Bao was a born romantic? Did he show it when he was a child? Er Bao's appearance mostly resembled Su Xu, but his eyebrows and eyes were very similar to Liu Nian's, so Er Bao's eyes were the round, almond-shaped kind.

It's said that people with peach blossom eyes look very affectionate when they look at others. Liu Nian sighed inwardly, fearing that Erbao would grow up to be a playboy.

Today is not Sunday, so Qianqian still has to go to school. Liu Nian watched her son reluctantly send Qianqian into the classroom, and then walked to the velvet tree in front of the classroom, holding his little schoolbag and obediently staying there. He stared at the little girl's face peeking out of the window and smiled foolishly.

“Erbao, you can’t go out by yourself next time. You’re still too young. What if you encounter danger on the road?” Qianqian’s mother gently educated her. “Even if you leave a note at home, your family will still worry.”

What note? Liu Nian didn't see it at all. Er Bao probably didn't lie. Had she overlooked something? She racked her brains, thinking about it until she was completely overwhelmed. She decided to take Er Bao home and give all three of them a good talking-to.

Liu Nian and Su Xu rushed over. Er Bao panicked the moment he saw Liu Nian and hid half of his body behind Qianqian's mother.

"What are you hiding for? Come out!" Liu Nian said with a stern face as Erbao slowly revealed his face and blinked pitifully at Liu Nian.

"Mom, don't be angry." Erbao clutched his little schoolbag, looking ashamed and not daring to look at Liu Nian.

He probably knew he had done something wrong, and he tugged at Liu Nian's clothes with his chubby little hand, saying, "Mommy, I was wrong. I shouldn't have run away from home by myself."

"But Mom," Erbao said in a childish voice, tilting his head back, "you can't discipline a child in front of outsiders, because children have self-esteem too! Mom, you're making me lose face. You can discipline me when we get home. I'll just skip dinner tonight."

These words made Qianqian's mother laugh. She chuckled twice, patted Erbao's head, and said, "Your Erbao is so cute, just like a little adult."

"I'm sorry to have troubled you today." Liu Nian breathed a sigh of relief. "How come my child is so bold?"

Erbao pouted and said, "It's because I miss Sister Qianqian so much. I had no choice but to sneak over to see her."

He gave Liu Nian and Su Xu a very resentful look, as if to say, "Who told you not to take me to find Sister Qianqian? If you won't take me, can't I go find her myself?"

Under her son's resentful and accusing gaze, Liu Nian had no choice but to promise to bring him to see Qianqian once a week from now on. Only then did Erbao purse his lips and secretly smile, then glance shyly at Qianqian's mother.

"Auntie, is that okay? I'll come to play with Sister Qianqian often from now on." Erbao nervously clenched his little hands and rubbed them together.

"Okay!" Qianqian's mother patted Erbao's head again.

Since they had already skipped class today, Liu Nian decided to let Erbao play to his heart's content. She waited until Qianqian got out of school at noon and let the two children play for a while before taking Erbao home.

Before leaving, Qianqian's mother wanted to return Erbao's piggy bank. Erbao immediately became anxious and said, his face turning red, "It's for my sister Qianqian. You can't make decisions for her like this."

Liu Nian stuffed the gift into Qianqian's mother's hand and said, "Alright, this is a token of my second child's affection. You can let Qianqian take it."

Finally, Qianqian watched Erbao get into the car while holding her piggy bank, and quietly waved to him, "Goodbye, Erbao!"

——

Although Liu Nian disciplined Erbao and also forced Dabao and Sanbao to receive education along with her, she kept her word and made sure that Erbao and Qianqian met every week.

Every time, Liu Nian would mutter to herself, "Let's see when this little scumbag gets tired of me, then I can call him a heartless man."
