Chapter 227 What to do when you mistake your brother-in-law for a love rival? (1/2)

Chapter 227 What to do if you mistake your brother-in-law for a love rival?

Indeed, the poor, isolated boy who has never had any social interaction is finally going to see the wonderful world of adults.

Upon reaching the door, Su Miao suddenly felt guilty and asked, "Are you an adult?"

"Okay." Zhou Wenhao nodded. "Do you want me to show you my ID? I can book a hotel room with you."

What nonsense are you spouting? Su Miao couldn't understand his thought process and led Zhou Wenhao inside.

This is a quiet bar, relatively peaceful, with resident singers performing, but it's still a smoky and chaotic place. So when Su Miao appeared with Zhou Wenhao, who was dressed neatly in his high school uniform, Su Miao's group of buddies whistled in unison.

"Su Miao, what's wrong with you? You should have said so earlier if you liked this kind of thing!"

"Little brother is so tender, does little brother want some milk?"

"Little brother, have you finished your homework? Your older sister graduated from a top university and can tutor you all night long!"

Seeing Zhou Wenhao's face turn crimson, Su Miao couldn't take it anymore and said, "Shut up!"

A few bottles of wine were scattered on the booth. Su Miao pulled Zhou Wenhao to sit down with her and asked, "What would you like to drink?"

What she really wanted to ask was, "What would you like to drink?"

Zhou Wenhao obediently took off his schoolbag and said, "Grandma."

A group of people burst into laughter. Zhou Wenhao raised his eyebrows and, under the flashing lights, casually looked around at the people next to him, taking advantage of the ambiguous atmosphere to conceal his ulterior motives.

"Here, have some milk, little brother, grow up well." The fiery older woman poked his cheek with her sharp nails. Zhou Wenhao couldn't dodge in time, and Su Miao slapped her hand away. "Don't tease us."

The mature woman said sarcastically, "Us?"

Zhou Wenhao leaned closer to Su Miao, tilting his head to look at the mature woman opposite him. His backpack fell at Su Miao's feet, so Zhou Wenhao leaned closer to Su Miao again and bent down to pick it up.

It's like a puppy marking its territory, slowly encroaching on it. The mature woman shrugged, thinking to herself: This younger brother doesn't want to be a younger brother.

A group of people were drinking, and he was holding a milk bottle. Among the crowd whose eyes were gradually becoming glazed over, his gaze was clear.

Then he started doing his homework, and the people around him looked like they'd seen a ghost.

Su Miao couldn't help but exclaim, "What a good kid! Look at them, studying so hard even in such a harsh environment. Tsk tsk, aren't you ashamed?"

Apart from Su Miao, everyone else present was a bunch of rich second-generation heirs who were just waiting to inherit their family businesses and live a life of leisure.

Su Miao praised him for a moment, then went to the restroom.

Zhou Wenhao stared at Su Miao's wine glass, the rim of which was imprinted with her lipstick, the lines of her lips all imprinted on it.

The yellowish liquid inside was bubbling, and he reached out his hand without thinking.

Slender, pale fingers held the cup to her lips, and the mature woman exclaimed, "What are you trying to do?"

Zhou Wenhao pressed his lips to the rim of the cup, slowly tilted the cup upwards, and looked down at everyone at the table.

With a clatter, he slammed the cup onto the table. He looked up, his lips stained with red marks, as if the marks on the cup were meant to be on his lips.

"Nothing much, just want to taste it." Zhou Wenhao lightly licked the wine stains on his lips with the tip of his tongue, then leaned back, his eyelids twitching, obscuring the clear light in his eyes.

When Su Miao returned, she saw Zhou Wenhao looking completely dazed.

"You let him drink it?" Su Miao questioned her cronies. The mature woman shook her head repeatedly, and was dumbfounded by Zhou Wenhao's actions.

"Miaomiao?" Zhou Wenhao wrapped his arms around her, turned to the side and hugged Su Miao, rubbing his head against her lower back. "I'm drunk, I feel so awful."

Without even asking what happened, Su Miao complained to her friends, "Why did you let him drink it!"

"Who told him to drink it?" The mature woman sneered, "Scheming man."

"Let's go, I'll take you home." Su Miao pulled Zhou Wenhao with one hand and picked up his schoolbag with the other.

The two strolled leisurely towards the door and stood by the roadside to hail a taxi.

The guy was behaving himself now, leaning against her obediently without moving. The smell of alcohol wafting over him didn't smell bad at all; on the contrary, it smelled like fermented fruit, filling the air with fragrance.
