Chapter 230 Please Don't Hide From Me

Su Miao was completely unaware of this. She had already left the martial arts gym, mounted her motorcycle, and hadn't even changed her clothes, clearly intending to escape.

Su Miao stayed at home for several days in a row, and Ms. Liu came to check on her several times, fearing that something had happened to her.

"What's wrong with you?" Ms. Liu kept asking her, "Why aren't you going racing? Why aren't you going to the martial arts gym? Why aren't you going out to meet up with your friends?"

Feeling apologetic for causing Ms. Liu so much worry, Su Miao stammered, "It's alright, I'll stay home for a few days to keep you company."

Ms. Liu looked terrified and shouted, "Old man, something terrible has happened to our daughter!"

Her eyes were red, and she was just about to burst into tears in her arms. Startled, Su Miao immediately stood up and rushed towards the door, shouting, "I'm off to race with my friends!"

Su Xu hurriedly walked to the door with the newspaper in his hand, looked at Su Miao, and said, "That's more like it. Why are you pretending to be Lin Daiyu at home?"

Su Miao rode her bike unsteadily, but where could she go? Inertia led her to the winding mountain road.

Just as he feared, Zhou Wenhao stood there, his face still bearing bruises, his complexion a riot of colors.

Su Miao found it strange that she kept running into Zhou Wenhao wherever she went. It was so late at night, and his family was clearly neglecting him. What kind of behavior was it for a student not to study?

But she couldn't be bothered to care. What did it have to do with her? It was best if he didn't even bother to talk to her today.

"Hey, that kid's been peeking at you." Su Miao felt a tap on the shoulder.

She turned to look at the blond guy and said irritably, "He's not looking at me, he's looking at your hair, which is as yellow as a pile of poop."

Huang Mao's real name is Liu Ben, but everyone calls him Benzi. He is usually effeminate and dresses in a flamboyant way. It is said that his sexual orientation is a mystery.

These words immediately excited Benzi. With a cry of "Oh!", she swayed her little waist and skipped over to Zhou Wenhao.

Zhou Wenhao stood by the roadside, not saying a word, still looking at Su Miao.

Behind him stretched a vast forest, the wind rustling through the treetops, swaying behind him like tentacles reaching out, as if about to drag him into a dark abyss.

Su Miao felt a terrible headache coming on. She couldn't let such a good kid fall into the pit because of her.

Helpless, Su Miao walked over and grabbed the notebook by the collar. The notebook let out a strange cry, like a mouse whose tail had been stepped on.

"Hey—what are you doing?" Benzi reached out at Zhou Wenhao, baring his teeth and claws. "Little brother, little brother, were you looking at me just now?"

"He's looking at me!" Su Miao grabbed his hand and flung him towards her. She covered her neck with her notebook and let out another strange cry, "Oh, good that you admit it."

Zhou Wenhao smiled at Su Miao, a sly smile playing on his lips. "Sister Miaomiao."

Su Miao yelled, "Go home! Don't follow me!"

She turned around, got into the car, twisted the accelerator, and the engine roared as Su Miao sped off.

Su Miao had walked this mountain path hundreds of times, but this time she was filled with trepidation. She wasn't riding very fast, but the approaching noises behind her kept her nerves on edge.

The car caught up, and the two cars drove side by side. The rushing air made her car sway, and she couldn't ignore the vehicle beside her.

It was Zhou Wenhao, hunched over, his hands gripping the handles tightly, his body pressed against the ground to the side, which gave Su Miao a sense of tense urgency.

This circle is only so big. Su Miao had never heard of Zhou Wenhao before, which means he is a newbie. Is a newbie so reckless as soon as he starts?

Su Miao knew exactly what the road conditions ahead were like; it wasn't something a novice could handle. But Zhou Wenhao recklessly twisted the accelerator, creating a loud, ear-piercing explosion.

He had already dashed out.

Su Miao couldn't ignore it, so she honked the horn repeatedly to make him stop.

"Hey! Zhou Wenhao, stop!" Su Miao became anxious and followed Zhou Wenhao, shouting until her throat hurt, "Stop right now!"

"Do you fucking want to die? If you want to die, get the hell out of here and don't let me see you!"

Who are you threatening with this? Su Miao was so angry she couldn't help but yell, "So childish! I could never like someone so childish!"

The roar of motorcycles echoed through the empty valley; it was unclear how much of Su Miao's shouts he could hear.

The car suddenly slowed down, and Su Miao was overjoyed. However, the car lost control in the next second and crashed to the ground.

Sparks flew everywhere as the man was thrown out, rolled several times on the ground, and crashed heavily onto the mountainside.

Su Miao was in turmoil. She quickly stopped the car and ran towards him.

He didn't just hear her words; he took them to heart. For a moment, he was at a loss, bewildered, and let go of her hands.

I could never like someone as childish as him.

Zhou Wenhao, wearing a helmet and clutching his head, curled up on the ground, helpless and able only to cry out in anguish.

Surrounded by mountains and forests, the sobbing and the whistling of cranes mingled together, as if howling from all directions, enveloping Su Miao, rushing into her eardrums, and disturbing her nerves. From that moment on, her heart could no longer find peace.

"Get up!" Su Miao said, "Check if you're injured, and take off your helmet first."

When the other party ignored him, Su Miao shouted, "Did you hear me?"

"Make a sound!"

The other person remained curled up on the ground, so Su Miao had no choice but to approach and squat down.

The next second, the boy suddenly pounced on her and hugged her tightly.

Her first words were filled with grievance: "Please, don't avoid me."

"I made a mistake. I shouldn't have lied to you. It's all my fault. It's okay if you don't like me, but please don't avoid me. I'm really going crazy."

His voice trembled, his hands trembled, and he held her tightly in his arms.

Su Miao suddenly felt her heart soften. Listening to his cries and murmurs, Su Miao replied, "Okay."
