I didn't eat much, so why do I feel so nauseous? My stomach is churning.
"What's wrong?" Su Xu jumped off the kang (a heated brick bed) anxiously. "I'll take you to the clinic!"
"It's nothing, I probably just ate something bad." Liu Nian patted her chest, but she couldn't stop feeling nauseous, and acid kept refluxing from her stomach.
Su Xuqing, his face grim, had already picked up the shoes. He held her foot firmly in his large hand and forcefully put them on. "Listen to me, let's go see a doctor."
Before Liu Nian could say anything, Su Xu scooped her up in his arms and ran out.
"I'm fine!" Liu Nian struggled in dissatisfaction, but Su Xu's face was extremely pale, his lips were tightly pursed, and his expression was stern.
"My wife is sick! I need to borrow a tractor to go to the clinic!" Su Xu carried her directly to the village committee.
It startled everyone present.

"Our captain is actually a henpecked husband!"
"Tsk tsk, he really spoils his wife."
Ignoring the teasing, Su Xu focused all his attention on Liu Nian.
Su Xu rushed Liu Nian to the hospital, picked her up, and ran off again.
Finally, panting, he blocked the doorway, shouting, "My wife is sick!"
Liu Nian blushed and muttered softly, "Put me down right now!"
Su Xu then took a deep breath and put Liu Nian down.
"He was just too nervous," Liu Nian said, smoothing her hair.
The doctor blinked and smiled, "You two have such a good relationship."
"She's been feeling nauseous for the past few days and hasn't been able to eat." Su Xu's brow furrowed with concern as he asked urgently, "Is my wife alright?"
He couldn't accept that Liu Nian was in any way wrong. Su Xu felt his heart clench, and waves of pain made him spasm.
After listening to Su Xu's words, the doctor smiled again, "Let's go get the tests done first."
This person clearly hasn't been a father before!
The doctor then ordered lab tests, and Su Xu nervously took Liu Nian to get them done.
While waiting for the results, Su Xu held Liu Nian's hand tightly, his palms were sweaty, and he felt uneasy.
"I'm fine, don't be so nervous." Liu Nian leaned on Su Xu's shoulder and gently comforted him. "Maybe it's good news?"
"What good news?" Su Xu raised an eyebrow. "They're already at the hospital, what good news could there be?"
Liu Nian slightly curled the corners of her lips, "Just wait and see."
Her period was a few days late this month, and Liu Nian thought she must be pregnant this time.
She had barely finished speaking when she heard the doctor call out a number.
"Liu Nian! Positive!"
