Su Xu frowned. If one child was already tormenting Nian Nian so much, wouldn't two be even more painful?

"Is my wife having a hard time?" Su Xu took a deep breath and hugged the woman beside him tightly. "Is there any way to alleviate this?"

But Su Xu was still worried and kept asking the dean all sorts of questions. Finally, Liu Nian couldn't stand it anymore and pulled Su Xu away.
"I'm hungry," Liu Nian blinked.
"There's food!" Su Xu quickly took out food and drinks from his backpack.
This diverted Su Xu's attention, and Liu Nian took the opportunity to pull Su Xu out, turning back to smile at the dean and express her gratitude.
"Are you tired, honey?" Su Xu slung his backpack over his shoulder and then picked Liu Nian up in his arms.
Liu Nian's eyes widened, and she frantically pounded Su Xu with her small fists, "Hey! Put me down right now! This is a hospital, there are so many people here!"
"Your husband loves you so much," Wu Lili said, her voice filled with genuine envy.
The people around them covered their mouths and giggled, wanting to see but too embarrassed to, glancing at them curiously out of the corner of their eyes.
"Look, everyone's laughing at us." Liu Nian simply closed her eyes tightly and buried her face in Su Xu's chest.
Su Xu's steady, strong heartbeat came through the phone, along with his rather smug voice—
"Go ahead and look if you want. I want everyone to know how good I am to you."
He wanted everyone to know that he loved Liu Nian.
"They love to show off so much," Liu Nian thought to herself, "but it's so sweet."
Su Xu carried Liu Nian and swaggered through the hospital. Let whoever wants to look, look; he's carrying his wife! Even if the King of Heaven himself came, he couldn't stop him from treating his wife well.
