It was already 9:30 when Su Yan came out of the shower.
Jiang Jingxing was dressed and was now unpacking the breakfast on the table.
"Eat something and then take a nap." He said, walking over and taking the towel from her hand to dry her hair. "There's a towel I bought for you by the bedside. Don't use the hotel's towel to dry your body, okay?"
Su Yan glanced at the bedside table and saw a pink towel on the foot of the bed, with a plastic bag underneath.
"Next time you come, I'll take you home to stay, so you won't have to stay in hotels anymore."
Hearing this, she stared in shock, "You're taking me back to the compound? So soon!"
Jiang Jingxing paused for a moment, then, seeing her startled expression, couldn't help but chuckle and said, "No, it's a house I bought before. I had someone renovate it a while ago, and it will take another half a month to finish."
There are too many people and too much attention in the compound, and I don't want anyone there to affect you. From now on, as long as I'm not around, you don't need to go back to the compound. If you don't want to go back, I'll go back myself. If Grandpa weren't there, I wouldn't have gone back either.
Su Yan knew that he had a bad relationship with his parents, so she stepped forward and put her arm around his strong waist, looked up at him and said, "No matter what happens, I will be with you."
Before Jiang Jingxing could even feel happy, she said seriously, "Of course, if you do anything to wrong me, then this statement doesn't count."
"No." He lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "I will never do anything to hurt you."
He could sense that Su Yan had feelings for him.
No matter how heavy the burden, he was content.
"Okay, it'll get cold if you don't eat it now. Let me blow-dry your hair."
The man pressed her down onto the stool.
Su Yan turned to look at him, "Aren't you going to eat?"
"I have to rush back to the military region to take care of some things. I won't be able to finish until about six or seven o'clock in the evening. You should get some sleep first. I'll arrange for you to meet with Grandpa for dinner tonight."
"So fast?"
Jiang Jingxing said, "Grandpa knows you're in Beijing today and is eager to meet your future granddaughter-in-law. He urged me several times yesterday."
Su Yan's face turned red.
Then, as if remembering something, she hesitated and said, "But I haven't bought any gifts yet! Also, isn't Grandpa in poor health? What if his condition worsens if he goes out at this time? Why don't I go to the compound to visit him? Besides, it's usually the younger generation who visits the elders. If I let Grandpa go out, people will say I don't know the proper etiquette."

Jiang Jingxing refused and was scolded by her with a stern face.
"Man is made of iron, food is made of steel. Even if you have a body of iron, you still need to eat breakfast, otherwise your stomach will be ruined, and I'll see how I deal with you!"
The girl's feigned fierceness was utterly harmless; her chubby cheeks were incredibly cute. He kissed the top of her head, his voice low and husky: "Wait for me to come back."
Su Yan sensed danger and immediately distanced herself from him, urging, "Let's go quickly and come back sooner."
Jiang Jingxing didn't say anything more, and left reluctantly, turning back every few steps.
The man's eyes were filled with such deep affection that it seemed as if she were his whole world.
Su Yan didn't close the door until his figure disappeared at the end of the corridor.
Thinking about what had just happened, she touched her burning cheeks, went back to bed, hugged the blanket and took a deep breath. The blanket still had the man's scent, refreshing with a faint soapy smell.
Although it didn't go all the way, she helped him with her five fingers, and thinking of the man's lovely size, her whole body went limp.
Belatedly realizing what had happened, she suddenly understood and, in shame, punched the blanket.
"Ugh! Su Yan, what kind of nonsense are you thinking about?!"
She covered her head to calm herself down quickly, and gradually drowsiness came over her, and she fell into a deep sleep.
