Chapter 316 Confidentiality Agreement

The next day.

After breakfast, Su Yan went back into the kitchen.

The training didn't end until 4:30 p.m.

"Sister Caixia, I'm going back to school today. I'll have to trouble you and Master Wu with what I need for this half-day," Su Yan said.

Wu Ching-kuo has an excellent memory; he can basically remember something after being taught it only once.

The other chefs in the kitchen also admired him.

So she feels at ease leaving any problems to Wu Ching-kuo.

Feng Caixia laughed and said, "Do we need to be so polite between us? Just focus on your studies and come over whenever you have time. If anything serious happens, I'll talk to you and Tang Li about it."

Su Yan nodded, then looked at Wu Jingguo, who was resting to the side, and said, "Master Wu, come with me to the office, I have something to tell you."

Wu Ching-kuo paused for a moment, then replied, "Okay."

The office is on the third floor.

Feng Caixia, being a stock investor, was able to listen, so she went up with them.

After closing the door, Su Yan took a contract directly from the drawer of her desk and handed it to Wu Jingguo, saying, "Master Wu, take a look."

Wu Ching-kuo saw a few words on the contract: "Confidentiality Agreement?"

"As the head chef of Banrixian, you must sign a confidentiality agreement," Su Yan explained unhurriedly. "The purpose of this confidentiality agreement is that you are not allowed to tell anyone the recipes for the dishes you learn at Banrixian, otherwise it is a crime and you will be held legally responsible. Of course, this does not apply to dishes that you already know how to make."

All of her signature dishes are her own creations, which she has taught to chefs who work part-time. Of course, she does not allow anyone to share her exclusive recipes with other restaurants or sell them.

Wu Ching-kuo understood. "I understand that point, but am I the only one who will sign this contract?"

He's not the only one who knows how to make the signature dish.

“You are the head chef, and your contract is different from the other chefs’ contracts. I added something to your contract: as long as Ban Ri Xian is still operating, you will always be the head chef. But at the same time, Ban Ri Xian is still operating for a day, so you can only stay at Ban Ri Xian and cannot go anywhere else.”

Of course, regarding salary, I will increase it based on your value and future economic development. If you work for me, I will neither cheat my customers nor mistreat my employees. If you, Mr. Wu, are unwilling, that's fine too; I respect your choice.

"I'm willing!" Wu Ching-kuo, who was still hesitating, quickly said, "I'll sign this contract."

“Master Wu, you still have time to consider. We won’t force you. After all, once the contract is signed, it’s effective and there’s no going back,” Feng Caixia reminded him.

Wu Ching-kuo said, "It's just that I'll be idle for half a year, which isn't so bad. At least it's stable. Anyway, I'm all alone, so it doesn't matter where I stay."

As he spoke, he picked up the pen on the table and signed his name.

"You consider the customers and the taste of the food, so I am willing to trust you."

Su Yan smiled and said, "Thank you for your trust. Banrixian will not let everyone down."

Wu Ching-kuo didn't say anything more, "Then I'll go down."

After he left, Feng Caixia said, "You asked me to prepare this contract just for this?"

She paid a lawyer to prepare the confidentiality agreement, but Su Yan had her prepare it when she was in Beijing.

Su Yan took out the remaining five copies. "Take these and get them signed by the other chefs. By the way, when are we going to register the business license and the names?"

"Tang Li took care of all of this. I called him at noon and he said he had it all done. I'll bring it next time I come."

Hearing this, Su Yan was relieved.

Su Yan and Wen Liangce waited until Zhu Gongcheng and his men arrived to install the plaque before preparing to take a taxi back to their apartment.

Zhu Gongcheng hurriedly said, "Why don't you have dinner before going back? It's my treat, don't rush off."

Su Yan declined, saying, "I'm a bit tired today, and I need acupuncture when I get back. Maybe next time, Boss Zhu."

The fatigue on her face was obvious.

Feng Caixia said, "Boss Zhu, Ayan has been sick and hasn't fully recovered yet. You can treat us to a meal after she's better."

Zhu Gongcheng was a little disappointed upon hearing this, but he couldn't force the issue. "Alright then, be careful on your way back."

...

Back at Dawn Apartments.

Su Yan fell asleep during the acupuncture treatment.

Wen Liangce went to the balcony to report the situation to Xie Jin.

Xie Jin said, "Your only task each day is this. After the needles are removed, you have free time."

"Then I must be too idle, right?"

"Didn't you complain before that being around me was too busy?" Xie Jin said casually, "Consider this a short vacation for you."

Wen Liangce has hardly had any rest since he started following him.

Wen Liangce grinned upon hearing this, "Professor, you've finally had a change of heart."

"Alright, leave after you've had the needle removed. Don't be alone in a room with my junior sister!" Xie Jin warned before hanging up the phone.

An hour later.

Su Yan was still asleep when Wen Liangce removed the needles.

He glanced at Su Yan's fair back, which was covered with needle marks, touched his nose, covered her with a blanket, and then quietly left the apartment.

He dared not even entertain thoughts about the professor's junior colleague.

Su Yan didn't know when Wen Liangce left; she woke up after nine o'clock at night.

Thinking about having class tomorrow, she quickly got up from the sofa.

He left a note on the table and went back to school.

It takes about ten minutes to walk from the apartment to the school.

When Su Yan returned to the dormitory, Chen Ting and the others were still gossiping.

I was incredibly surprised to see her return.

"Ayan, why are you back so late?" Deng Ziyi asked.

Su Yan returned to her seat and said, "I need to get my books from my counselor at 8 a.m. tomorrow."

"Then go take a shower quickly, there's a water heater in the bathroom," Deng Ziyi urged. "Rest after you shower, the three of us will take you to your classroom tomorrow."

Su Yan thought about it and didn't refuse.

She hasn't had time to visit the school in the past few days; apart from her dormitory, she feels lost about the rest of the place.

"Thank you, my roommates. I'm going to take a shower." She blew kisses to the three of them before heading to the balcony.

Deng Ziyi rubbed his goosebumps and muttered, "I've discovered that Ayan's face is quite lethal."

Bai Meng rarely nodded in agreement so quickly, "I also think she's prettier than Zhang Ziyi from the nursing program."

"Mainly because Ayan dresses more casually, while Zhang Ziyi dresses up in a flamboyant way every day and even puts on makeup," Chen Ting said enviously.

"What are you whispering about?" Su Yan asked casually as she came in to get a towel.

“Zhang Ziyi is a nursing student. She’s the undisputed new campus beauty, but we think she’s not as pretty as you,” Bai Meng said honestly.

Su Yan raised an eyebrow. "I'm not interested in any of this. I'm going to take a shower. You guys continue."

After saying that, she took the towel and left.

Deng Ziyi said, "Ayan is too thin. If she were a little fatter, she would definitely outshine Zhang Ziyi."

Zhang Ziyi has a tall, slender figure with a curvy figure and a beautiful face; she's truly the envy of everyone.

They're both girls, so why doesn't she have such a good figure?
