These past few days have been very difficult for Xiao Feng.
Since the argument with Fu Xiaolian that day, he had calmed down, but Fu Xiaolian still seemed unwilling to forgive him.

"Honey, aren't you tired after shopping for so long? Why didn't you buy anything?"
Fu Xiaolian didn't even look at him, snorted, and went into the bedroom.
Xiao Feng called out from behind.
"I've prepared the food. Come and eat when you're done cleaning up."
As he spoke, he hung Fu Xiaolian's bag on the coat rack and returned to the sofa to wait for Fu Xiaolian to come out for dinner.
Fu Xiaolian removed her makeup, changed into a loose set of pajamas, and then leisurely walked out of the bedroom, looking extremely tired.
Xiao Feng quickly stood up, tenderly helping her sit down, muttering to himself.
"If you're not feeling well, just walk around a little less. You look exhausted, why bother?"

Xiao Feng's head buzzed, as if it was about to explode.
The image of Alex's large hand roaming over Fu Xiaolian's body flashed through his mind again.
The hand that had reached into its pocket to retrieve the jade Buddha froze inside.
Noticing his strange gaze, Fu Xiaolian tightened her collar somewhat awkwardly, concealing the necklace beneath her clothes.
"What are you looking at?"
She called out to Xiao Feng with some dissatisfaction.
Xiao Feng stared blankly for a long time before finally asking a question, unwilling to give up.
"Xiao Lian, where did you get your necklace?"
Upon hearing this, Fu Xiaolian jumped up like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.
"Where did it come from? Of course I bought it myself. If you wouldn't buy it for me, I could at least buy it myself."
After saying that, she threw down her chopsticks, refused to eat, and stormed back to her bedroom, slamming the door shut.
Xiao Feng sat on the sofa, stunned, as waves of anger surged through his mind, almost causing him to lose his temper.
He wanted to disregard all consequences and expose Fu Xiaolian, stripping away her hypocritical facade and revealing her to the public.
But he knew that once he did that, he would have torn down the last veil, and there would only be one outcome: forcing Fu Xiaolian to leave him as quickly as possible.
But is he willing to accept this?
I'm not reconciled. I lost everything, and this is the result I got in the end.
He pulled a bottle of baijiu (Chinese liquor) from under the table and gulped it down his throat.
The strong liquor made him cough for a long time, until tears streamed down his face, before he gradually stopped.
