When Tiger saw the branch about to hit Xiao Jian, he panicked and rushed forward in a moment of impulsiveness.
He flew through the air and kicked Xiao Lian's body.
Unexpectedly, Xiao Lian had already seen him. When he saw Hu Zi kicking at him, he dodged to the side, and Hu Zi's kick missed.
Bu Lian managed to dodge, but there was still someone standing behind him—Xiao Mengjie, who kept pulling him back to stop him from hitting anyone.
When Hu Zi saw her, he had already pulled back his body, only his feet, and his whole body crashed directly into Xiao Mengjie.
With a cry of "Ouch!", the two of them fell to the ground together, rolling several times before the car finally came to a stop.
Fortunately, Tiger's skin was thick and tough, so he didn't feel any pain and got up in no time.
Looking at the little girl he had knocked down, she was frowning, her eyes seemed to be filled with tears, and she struggled on the ground several times but couldn't get up.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry."
Tiger was a little flustered. What was going on? He had kicked out, but instead of hitting the bad guy, he had knocked the little girl quite hard.
As he spoke, he reached out and helped Xiao Mengjie up by supporting her arm on the ground.
Are you alright?
Tiger looked somewhat embarrassed.
Xiao Mengjie rubbed her chest, which had been bumped and hurt, but felt nothing was wrong. Besides, she knew that Hu Zi hadn't done it on purpose, so she didn't really mind.
He gently shook his head, slowly took a step back, and said.
"fine."
They're all kids who grew up in the countryside, they all grew up rolling around in the mud, they're not that delicate.
Tiger breathed a sigh of relief. When he looked back, Xiao Lian was rushing towards Xiao Jian again, holding a tree branch.
Tiger abandoned Xiao Mengjie and prepared to go up and help.
Just then, Jiao Bai followed Liu Ye and Xiao Shanshan out.
Upon seeing this, Xiao Shanshan immediately became anxious.
What are you doing?!
As he spoke, he prepared to rush forward and pull Xiao Lian away.
But before she could even move, a figure had already flown out from behind her.
No one knows how Jiao Bai did it; he was as fast as a blur, and in the blink of an eye, he was already between Xiao Jian and Xiao Lian.
He kicked high into the air, just as the branch was about to strike Xiao Jian's back.
With a crisp "crack," Xiao Lian was left with only the root, which was a little over a foot long, in his hand. The more than one-meter-long part in front of it broke off lightly and fell behind Xiao Jian.
This swift and decisive move immediately surprised everyone present, and Tiger stared in disbelief.
It's important to know that the branch Xiao Lian was holding wasn't a hardwood stick. If it were a hardwood stick, an ordinary person could easily break it with a single kick if they applied the right amount of force.
That was a branch just broken off from a willow tree; it was soft and very resilient. It wouldn't break easily.
Jiao Bai's kick wasn't about power; it was about speed and precise judgment.
This can only be achieved by kicking precisely at the center of gravity of the branch, provided there is sufficient speed.
Jiao Bai's ability to make such an accurate judgment in an instant is truly eye-opening.
While ordinary people may not be able to see the intricacies involved, they should be honest with themselves and know that no one else on the scene could have done this.
Jiao Bai kicked a tree branch and rescued Xiao Jian, but his actions did not stop.
As he pulled his foot back, a hand had already grabbed one of Xiao Lian's wrists.
With a flick of his arm, he executed a standard backhand grappling move, subduing Xiao Lian and forcing him to kneel on one knee. No matter how much Xiao Lian struggled, he couldn't budge Jiao Bai an inch.
The entire sequence of movements was fluid and seamless; in the blink of an eye, Xiao Lian had lost the ability to resist.
Everyone present, except for Liu Ye and Xiao Shanshan, was witnessing Jiao Bai's skills for the first time.
Exclamations of surprise continued.
"Holy crap, who is this guy? How come his kung fu is so amazing?"
"Am I seeing things? Could this be a great swordsman from ancient times?"
"I've seen him a few times, isn't he Xiao Weiguo's driver? I didn't expect him to have such impressive kung fu skills. Truly amazing!"
As everyone whispered and discussed among themselves, Xiao Lian, who had struggled for a long time, realized that he couldn't break free and couldn't help but start cursing.
"Fuck you, let me go! I'm going to beat up that crazy woman, what's it to you? Mind your own business!"
Seeing that he was still not behaving himself, Jiao Bai stretched out a finger and gently poked him on the top of his back without much force.
Jiao Bai used a legendary technique from ancient martial arts: acupressure.
In reality, there's nothing magical about it; it's simply about finding the most vulnerable parts of the body and using different techniques to create different sensations.
With just that gentle touch of his finger, Xiao Lian immediately shut his mouth.
Waves of endless pain surged from his back. Xiao Lian could only grit his teeth and stare wide-eyed, his face flushed red, and large beads of sweat dripped from his forehead to the ground.
The scene finally quieted down.
Only then did Xiao Shanshan have time to ask Xiao Jian a question.
"Xiao Jian, what's going on?"
Her family and Xiao Changsuo's family had a feud. As the older sister, she had almost been dragged into a fire pit by Xiao Changsuo, and her older brother, Xiao Weiguo, had retaliated against them multiple times. The two families could be said to be irreconcilable enemies.
Why did Xiao Jian rush out to meddle in this family's affairs?
If she goes along with it, it would be better if this whole family fought like madmen. Why bother with them?
Xiao Jian glanced at Xiao Mengjie, who was helping her mother to her feet, and whispered in her sister's ear.
"This was instructed by my elder brother. He said he owed Xiao Feng a great favor and promised to take care of Xiao Feng's wife and daughter, and asked me to lend a hand whenever I needed help."
